Compared to a manual, yes. But nobody compares it to a manual because it's not a manual gearbox.
So when people buy new cars they're supposed to stop talking to the friends they made when they had the old car and log off forever? CS is more than just a Clio owner's club - it'd be hella boring...

I wonder if there's any physical change in the gearbox itself between the 200 and the 220 or whether it's just transmission mapping.
Oh and pray you never do a clutch in, £1600+VAT anyone?
Actually, the trophy's gearbox is how it should've been all along. To be honest, the whole trophy is the car that the 200 should have been. On that basis, is it worth the premium? You're paying an extra several ££££ for what is essentially bugfixes.
Megane is probably a better shout.
There's a few main culprits.
1. Aim
2. Projector lens clouded
3. Outer headlight lens clouded
4. Rubbish HID kits.
1 is often easy to sort. Can be just bad aim, or the headlight height servo popped out of its little cup on the linkage (easy). If it's an actual broken height mechanism, the...
