Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
Such a nice looking car when clean, great colour combo for sure.
When it goes as well as it looks you'll be onto a winner ;)
TEG will probably join you there.
Not a bad list forming here, enough for a lunch without causing a massive fuss. :D
I'll ask for final numbers 1 week before and book us in for a bit of grub if anyone fancies it?
Pretty sure all mk2 windows mech's are the same, not 1000% though. If I were you I'd pick one up out of a similar car, make sure it's the whole mech though, fitting new wires is the biggest ballache on earth.
Hi, welcome to the club.
The drivers seat not going forward is normally a broken/disconnected cable, seats are cheap as anything so you could pick up a second hand replacement for <£100 easy.
Service light can be reset very easily, should be done if you get the car serviced.
Clutch...
I left the sensor screwed into the decat and then unplugged the sensor at the connection under the car.
Had no effect on my ph1 AT ALL. But as said, it's hit and miss,
I still returned 44mpg on long journeys etc and it was still a very quick ph1.
That's a real b*****d on the dash, can't believe they've damaged it!
Are you getting anywhere with that?
Keep trying with the upholstery companies, eventually you'll find one. I found the prices differed massively when I was looking.
A question for you, I know you're ploughing $$$$ into...
You can screw it into the exhaust and just unplug it.
The reason it's left out is obviously, with there being no CAT, the emissions picked up by the second lamba sensor would register a problem.
Al_G - Awesome S2k!
Adam, how funny (I remember now, my memory sucks).
I'm looking at taking on a s**t load of freelance drawing work as the money seems good if you can find it.
