giles was right. part number is: 60 00 073 675 GEAR LEVER C2 £27.79 for some reason my vehicle code is CB1C but other Ph1 172's are CB0M :S

hmm... i put in the details for my car and got this: 82 00 208 088 KNOB G LEVER C3 £30.00 the part number giles said shows this: 60 00 073 675 GEAR LEVER C2 £27.79 the top one used my oval plate to find it, the second one is simply the part giles said. So its one of them..! lol

the standard airbox is probably the best option. just replace the air filter inside with a performance one such as Pipercross, ITG etc... will be much better than most induction kits, and costs £30!
