There not many turbo Clios out Nic Read has a high pressure turbo valver engine with 240hp or so but apart from that any Tony (who never started his engine I don't think) there are few owners.
I'd be buying oil and filters in bulk if I were you and change oil and filters and clean the IK or whatever its running ever 5k maximum and more likly 3k. If you track it them I'd chnage the oil straight away I'd imagine engine temps will be quite high.
Yes and no you caould do it but the 182 brakes arn't necessary ds2500 pads new fluid and lines is more than enough.
If you want real stopping power get some 4 pots plus they look better. You'll never need them with a 1.6 though unless its highly tunned.

Best talk to BBt about what spec the engine is they can probably make it so it runs fine on 95 Ron 98+ Ron though means they cna run higher boost and hence more power.
I know that over 120 degrees constant use oil become usless but I'm wondering how I go about (or more importantly cost) of testing the oil in my engine. Does anyone know who does tests and what the results would tell me?

You can just remove it my mates along with many others don't even have one. Its supposed to be there to help with high speed stability protection of the engine etc but its no huge problems not having one.
103k I think give or take 1k. head work, cams, 4-2-1 manifold, remap, new cambelt last year (about 6k ago) new Renault clutch 3k ago, Williams box wide track coilover bucket seats, roll cage (not fully fitted) 4 pot Willwood brakes, new master cylinder.

Merc had the same problem at Brands regards the fan it won't come on when the ignitions on as its aving its power for the starter. It sounds like its just hot so when you take the keys out the ECU switches the fan back on.
There are a few cars with silver wheles and Cup suspension packs some people wanted the silver wheels and dealers wanted the athretic alloys to sell to other people so they did a dead but thats not an official thing.

Yep. I was meaning a none cup packed 182 with H and R is better than paying the extra for a cup suspension packed car. None cuped cars are cheaper so you can use this to offset the H and R costs. A Cup packed car with then H and R is more expensive and no different than a H and R with 182 cup...
There no spare shocks at the moment they only made enought for the run regards warently work they'll end up fixing your old ones. If you crash err you'll have a problem.
They will won't fit a 172 hub though unless you drill the bolt holes a few mm futher together.. You could upgrade to a 182...
I'd go for a 182 with Cup suspension or if not one with none Cup suspension and invest in Some H and R coilovers.
Stock 182 setup cup spec or not still isn'tthe best its just a happy mediaum for all owners for track work you want it a bit harder.
Don't forget the 5gtt has a different requirments it depnds on what spec turbo you have you don't want to go overspeeding the turbo etc.
Another or a thick head gasget is the easy way to lower the CR which the low boost cars use sucessfully.
Whats cooling will you be used the stock radiator...
To be fair I think it was the bloke who as driving it most of the day. I cannot say anything about women drivers as one laped me during the day.
I'm not bothered though I just wish the marshalls or the person themselves had realsied they were quite slow when I was quicker than them.
I've worked out now why there two cars (links below) didn't have plates on them its because they knew I'd make voodo dolls of the cars.
