You mea the pedal ratchet?
There £15 I think for a new one from Renault depends which bits you need.
Pain to do like any job takes about 1 hrs if your doing for your first time reading the Haynes.
I tried driving my Williams every day for a bit.
Never again I guess the suspension didn't help but they were uncumfortable then again they were cheap seats and I have a bad back.
You want to risk them taking your engine to pices.
Anyway unless you map the engine you won't get any more power and may damage the engine running it lean then this different ECU mapping is noticable by a crash engineer in a few seconds.
All Clios run the same amounts hence why a 172 engine...
Fred that Fiats talking longer to build than your own engine.
Can we put bets on the new engines power? Or better still its completion date? (I'll have 10/9/08).
There always the problem about brakes behind big wheels.
I'd personally get the disk froma 16V etc then some 16v calipers at the fornt and run the k-tec big disk conversion it would be much cheaper.
You can do the ABS sensor youselt you just have to make sure the diustances are right. Its worth checking there correct though that might be the problem. New sensors are £50 from Renault. Some people have had the cables wearing through so that might be the problem.
You can get bigger mounting brackets from Halfords or Demon Tweeks.
However just make some metal brackets up though thats what I've done with my system.
How difficult was it to do? Any hints as I've got scorpian exhaust sytem I've got to fit next weekend to my car.
Headwork is about £4~600 depends how many valves. Its expensive unfortunatly there is somone on a Renault forum ChrisH I think whho will tell you what you need to do removal wise the tolls arn't much its the skills you pay for and knowing which bits to touch which makes the difference if you do...
Unfortunatly not. They wil stop you like mad its overkill realy the only thing is you can modulate them but you don't need that much stopping power. You'll never overheat the brakes or use them fully so you might find them rusting.
All you'll find is you never fully use there stopping power and...
There are a few owners on here who have done this.
There different cars. I love my Williams and I've driven a few 172/182's modified and standard and I love them as well. Its always good to try something different and if you can put up with the possible weekness of the car (less reliable...
If you go for standard Renault brake disks you get the bearing pressed in as standard.
I don't see any point in getting new bearing fitted might as well chnage the disk whilst your at it its not much extra.
They don't do sat nav now you might be just as well asking for the cash and having an aftermarket setup done.
I'd be very suprised if they offered you that much compensation though it wasn't a cheap opton.
There were some 182's with sat nav but its unpopularity meant it was removed from the...
The new dash has the same inputs its just how the dash interprits them the old dash uses the temp sensors electric outputs to run the electric motor which runs the dial the new one uses the outputs to decide how mnay lights to output. The same goes for the trip computer.
If you think about the...
SOunds like they need ballancing.
ANy tyre place can do ti should only be a few quid a wheel.
One or smore of the weight will have falledn of and the tyres isn't now ballanced.
Is that the intake manifold you were looking at bulding for a Cup owner before they crashed it and bought a mini? Was talking to the owner about one you were going to be building and it sounded amazing.
What sort of price would you be looking for the new manifold or the second stage normal...
You could always get a policy out and cancel it within the 14 days you allowed to free oif crarge then get another policy and cancel so you've got 30 days covered. This isn't exactly a good or nice thing to do though.
The other option is day insurance from this company...
They shouldn't need to be adjusted or chnaged. There good for 72k.
Be careful fiddling though there £20 each from Renault and there about your only choice.
I think there preset though.
Nope thats the intake air temperature sensor.
The coolent temp one is on the radiator. If you thing of the radiator them on the passenger side at the top with the sensor pointing into the radiator from the back thats where it is.
Nope you cannot have a look at that dash the 182 revs to 7.2k which is off the clocks potential you cannot just plug in that dash and go even the speedo isn't correctly calibrated (182 goes to 170mph).
If you want one you have two options as I see it.
1) Get one of those dashboards from a...
I had my first years insurance with them free with ym car and when I crashed they were good.No paperwork to fill in just a few minutes explaining what happened when i called up. Not sure how they would be with a courtesy car as it took some time before I needed one and they were in a ponderly...
1.4 are group 6 or so but you need to do a quote first realy as it might not be as big a jumpo as you think.
One of the things about auctions is you may find ex rental or hire cars and I wouldn't ever buy one of them.
A/C was a rarely taken option on thw 1.2's so you might have trouble findone...
Its a coolent temperature sensor not oil (I wish they had oil ones instead personally). its a common faling you need a new sensor I cannot remember how much they are but there not that bad to replace you can do it yourself. Many people who have this problem have it quite seriously and the engine...
How much extra work would be needed on an engine beyond this spec to hit 225hp on the normal (abeitly modified) intake? Would you be needing higher compression pistons etc?
Its superb though the basic design can be modified so much, any idea the gains this along would make on a stockish engine...
