Itrs probably the ones on the front then remove the wheels and have a look at the sensors and there wires to see if they have charfed. New ones are £50 or so and if you've broke on that your best opion don't try and fix it just relpace them.
Don't remove them though as you have to put them back...
Stock rear pada are only 6mm from new and there no sensor only one for brake fluid level so check that but I don't think thats your problem.
If the fault doesn't just go away 9this is a Renault after all I've had problems like this before) then it sounds like a faulty sensor there a few in the...
Its easy to spot a 1.4 or 1.65 or 172 engine the 1.2 is so different. If you cannot afford the insurance forget about it. if you think you cannot afford insurance imagine what will happen when /if yo crash and insurance refuse as they would to pay up then you'r realy realy stuck any other...
I don't think theres any difference personally I'm led to belive the unit is the same just the casbesse unit has a sticker which relates to the speakers. However someone did tell me it is a different unit. Part numbers of the units will be different as one has the sticker but if it has a...
Forget ging to a 1.4 or 1.6 there not huge enough jump for the effort. for a 1.6 and a 1.4 as well IMO you'd be be best changing the gearbox as well although the 1.4 does run the same type of box as the 1.2.
The 1.8 I take it you mean the last generation 1.8 16V engine is a fair bit of work...
Not to bad just takes a while to get your hands in the right place.
If your going to do it lie down in the footwell with your feet on the roof (you'll understand when you do it). Its just fiddly though. Also if you do it remember to stick a pit of sting etc on the old cable when you pull it...
I don't recomend they they are better than stock and do look realy nice but if you ever drive the car on atrack the brakes will be gone in a few laps I did a track day with them on the Williams and they were gone I'd complelty wrecked the whole setup. 4 pots are the way to do I've yet to fade...
The back cannot be adjusted like the fornt you can only check it they are correct if there not you need a new rear axle as you've bent it somehow. However as George k said you can have cup racer skims on the back but that for the racecars realy.
I love my car when its clean it realy looks like it was worth the effor I had a blue car beofre and it never looked worth the effort.
However the car does look dirty quickly. I'd recomend when/if you get one to wash and give it a total polish all over ever last spec touch up any stone chips etc...
Best place unless your going to get a bar accross the back rear suspesnions truts is the top rear achor nuts where the rear seatbelt goes. Many people stick then in the the holes where the rear seats go but its bothe damgerous in a crash and awquard to wear.
DS2500, superb pads they can be hard on disks but all hard pads are and arn't that good from cold but work with the stock £60 disk and only £80 or so from Yozzasport or Demon Tweeks (I think) so much cheaper. I don't like drilling disks they crack to easy.
However unless you've had problem with...
I wouldn't be to sure I'm looking at paying £1.3k for a 172 at 23 with 3 yrs NCB and 1 cliam. IF I lived in my old house (still in a nice area) its £1.6k.
Arr I've only washed the car for the first time in err a long time. I'd usually do so werll in competitions like this. Not a bad attempt Darren though keep up the good work.
Proper track day tyres even road legal ones arn't that suited to normal road use. I was speaking to someone who had some track day spec rubber on there car and they said it was almost dangerous, when they realy got upto temp they were superb under normal road use though they wouldn't ever get...
Thats not a bad price IMO. Don't forget its near it 144k cambelt service though.
Don't let the milage put you off the engines are very strong and to do that milage it must have been a lot of motorway miles and its been serviced ever 5 months so the engine probably got little wear on it as the...
Some cars can survive less than a few minutes before throwing a light some don't throw a light for month.
The 182's seem to have more problem as even if you unplug the sensor it can throw a warning light due to the ECU programming being different.
I'm not sure how many cell the standard cat is...
185/55/15 but 195/55/15 will fit and are a lot cheaper. The only thing is they catch on the back arches ever so slightly but I think that might only when your realy giving it some and I don't see it as enough to fail the MOT as mine never has.
You can just cut them up reasonably small and take thm to the metal tip at the skips. Thats the option I'd take as I'd love to smash and cut a shell u. An easier option would be to ring the scrap metal people if there nothing else in the shell they'll usually take it off your hands.
