Have you gone to a proper cable throttle body now with the new ECU. How come you went to the OMEX though is is this for future modifications the SMT cannot cope with? Isn't the 600 a bit overkill though or was it bought for future plans?
Thats a superb amount of power though any chance of a...
They drive differently than the Williams. The trophy is quite light on the back end I find compaired to my Williams but thats got coilovers. The 182 has a bit more keeness to go netral or understear. ALthough it depends how you drive.
The extra torque and power is good my WIlliams may have a...
You'll probably have to modify one.
The dash is a complex bit of kit. That digital one isn't fitted to the 182's so the one you saw was either a fake 182 had a custom dash or a modified normal dash.
H and R use Blistein dampers although probably not of the sped that blistein dampers you buy from them are.
People who have the H and R say its superb.
lightened bottom end makes it smoother and helps keep the engine together at higher rpm (assuming you have a remap etc to up the limiter). 2.0 bottom end is the best idea preferably with a ported or a Williams head and cams as well.
I still like the standard contis.
I run them on 195/50/15 the only problem is they ahve wron the rear arches away slightly but that might be down to track work.
There no reason to think you not a member as your not lowered it just lots of members have modified suspension setups.
My cars stock and noone has ever made me feel an unwelcomed member (I'm sure there a dirty pun there) its down to you than the car (beats me why I'm excepted realy).
My...
The starting problem is the same as BRUN had I bet you'v got a universal lambeda sensor and you need a proper Renault one.
Check your clucth cable I bet thats a copy part from Halords etc. You need a proper Renault ones.
The two copycat parts your using are famous for going wrong unless there...
I've no problems on my car coilovers etc should take account of this and be designed to bring camber inline correctly.
Lowering doesn't put more load on the driveshafts or make you run negative camber though driveshafts can get damaged yes but not down to the lower.
Chipwizards ha a good repuation with Mk1 owners so does hill power but that Mk1 only I think.
Depends where in the country and what car GDI do a SMT remap for any car realy but more expensive than a ECU remap as you need a SMT thingie.
Ring 01254 386661 and ask for Matt (j3ned on here) he gets loads of PM's so might not catch yours. PS he's always busy so if he forgets to ring you back give him a call again he'll help you out.
It shouldn't be that much though depends how much can be fixed instead of being replaced.
Don't bother trying to replace the CV joint its a pain get a new shaft.
Ball joints for all age Clios look the ame to me and there only £10 or so from GSF.
There are advantages to getting different suspension coilovers etc. lower setups have harder springs so you cannot have as much freedom in the wet to use the curbs on track etc.
Lower cars means more cornering speed or more spare grip when cornering at the same speed. However in the dry on on a...
If the light doesn't go out etc its an imobilser problem.
It will be the imobiliser pickup sensor (the bit round the ignition barrel). Best pop into Renault and ask how much one is I've not priced one up reciently.
They don't send the ECU's away they can nowadys just plug in there laptops and check the ECU programming. Due to the easy can common place of these hidden remaps insurance companys are wise to this modification.
I think my car was checked when I had my crashed for a different ECU programing...
The cable which goes to the cd drive will have a plug where the hard drive is plugged into if not trace the wire back to the boad and find another identical cable which should be plugged in and trace that to the hard drive.
Depends whats wrong with it regards getting rid to be honest.
