I disagree. I could bed any set of pads onto any set of discs, regardless of wear in one track session. The profiles won't match immediately, but on track, they'd break-in very quickly.

Given the choice, for the price, I'd go OE. DS2500 performance is not sufficiently improved over OE to warrant the extra cost in my opinion.

Can't comment on the cleanliness. Mine only ever gets a clean once in a blue moon, so it always looks grotty. Bite-wise, I can't say I noticed any change in the Blues depending on temperature.

That's outrageous! My Cup when it used to commute regularly gave me 40 (now it's retired it's averaging 31) and I even get 25-28 out of my Omega. Sounds like something's wrong somewhere?
