Ok then genius....
How does one put a jubilee clip on "correctly"?
The end of the shaft has to rotate, so where it is make no difference.
I've always used jubilee's before on other cars, but I'm guessing that because it's so low the pressure causes it to rub??
Oh and one more thing...
If...
I'll buy myself one of these:

FLOL, awesome stuff.
Complete total and utter filth.
Who were you though? It's starting to bug me.
As for disabling, the car, my personal choice would be to unplug the throttle pedal and tape the connector out of site.
That way if anyone really does try to nick it, they just can't move it...
The proper clip is pants though... there seemed plenty of room for the jubilee when still, but I'm guessing that's different under pressure???
I've seen lots of cars jubilee clipped before?
I'm sure you can't even buy the proper clip from Renault without buying a whole boot can you???
I can't say I "checked" like properly, but when bunging the grease in with my fingers I'm sure I'd have noticed it??? (it wasn't in a squeezey thing so I had to sling it in by hand).
Definitely not a screw in the tyre, well I say definitely, but I'm only so sure because you can sort of feel...
I recognise the avatar, but haven't clue who it used to be.
Therefore I'm not answering s**t before you:
a) Give yourself a "was"
and
b) Show me pics of this tart
I've got a knocking (more of a clicking with every wheel rotation) coming from turning hard right at speed (so the passenger wheel).
I've had it since doing the following....
The other day I noticed my CV clip had gone missing and in turn, spilt CV grease everywhere... wonderful.
I drove it...
Utterly ridiculous to think that because someone wasn't working, people just go ahead and start ruining 14k worth of someone elses property. Complete dealer fuckup.
The work by Jim is as amazing as usual. If I ever get a car and want it "fixing" it'll go to him.
I'm not talking low, I'm talking sportlines low.
Just to give it a bit more stance, the wheels, ironically, I think lot better on a non sport than the do on a sport. They just look so much more "sporty" with something better in the arches.
Nice little write up man, got to be said, I frikken love the Ph1, but the ph2 does look nice.
Once you've lowered it at least a bit and changed the wheels, I'll be a big fan.
No, that's 100% fine.
You can try to tighten it up with a alen key and swan neck spanner, but if it doesn't go any tighter, don't worry in the slightest.
The purpose of that top piece is to stop the suspension falling out of the suspension turret, not to be held tight to anything.
Re: Burpspeed Go-Karting Meet - PAYMENT IN CASH ONLY ON THE DAY!!
Must confess, I wasnt the biggest fan of the cut out thing.. Bit soft ;-)
Anyway I digress...
Thanks a lot to those who did all the organising, really enjoyed the whole day, as did everyone else I'm sure.
Good to meet some new...
