day after edde fitted my coilovers. its at max on the back... approx 80-90mm? and the front is now lower than it is there because its been re-adjusted... maybe about the same on the front... im not sure of the measurements, maybe ed can remember.
im pretty sure my standard exhaust has started blowing, but i was going to go aftermarket sometime soon anyway, and i just have a few questions:
i dont want a chavtastic as loud as possible box with 5" round tailpipe, i just want something with a nice note and gets loud as its opened up?? after...
i think its dropped a bit on the front already when parking tonight i could hear a sort of squeeking noise like rubber on plastic/arch couldnt really tell though, but not really noticed anything apart from the little squeak
im heading back to eddes on friday for a bit of adjustment as theres some noise coming from the back left wheel, there is no rubbing though so hes going to take a look.
yeah, i was going to see how much lower the front would go as there is quite alot of space round the wheel...
yeah, i'd say theres about 1cm(ish) gap between the outer arch and the rubber, dont know how much its going to settle though so its better leaving the back as you said and see how it goes...
will talk to you about the front in a few days see'ing as its different wheels to last friday
edde is the back on its max or is there still a bit of play? the springs look pretty compressed to me...
yeah lol, its just weather the wheels would rub on the outside arches, theyre pretty close as it is... i think its the stupid ET37 offset
EDIT
didnt see your post edde, there is no...
they were @ £0.99 for 5 days on a 7 day listing with 1 bid, i know your not meant to deal outside of ebay but the seller was happy to... only downside it cost £40 to send them via courier...
lol, im gona wait for it to settle for a bit, then maybe drop the front a bit more... also trying to see what its going to cost for some skirts inc spraying
Re: Error Pissing my off
i had this for a while, i swapped the memory that is physically slotted into the motherboard into another slot, seemed to solve the problem...
i was thinking of putting a piece of mdf as the base of the false floor, and another one slightly raised, so i have a gap inbetween to put an amp in for the sub, then the amp for the components up front would be under either of the seats.
ive seen a few on talkaudio.co.uk, people make a fibreglass mould to sit in the wheel well, and also put a layer of sound proofing imbetween the fibreglass layers, it was a perfect fit... they then drilled a hole for the bolt and secured it using a washer and tightening it right up... it was...
yes exactly, ive just put 16" superleggeras on the car, so the silly space saver wheel is going and im gona try and build the sub into the wheelwell like you described, been thinking about it for a few weeks and i was going to build a box that fits in, then a top piece of mdf that the sub can...
i went with the FK highsports, from the groupbuy
cash lol
When they were fitted i still had the standard dynamique alloys on, and we kept going up the road and back testing for any rubbing... there was the smallest bit on full left lock, which i wasnt bothered about, but now the...
