Hi all, Ive been looking round at tyre sites, mytyres.co.uk and etyres.co.uk, just wondering if its worth going for the cheaper brands (only going on a 1.2 16v) or what? I dont want to be putting 80 quid into each tyres, would it be beneficial going to a local tyre place or getting them off...

Hey ive been searching round on here and people say ET38 is the most commonly used on clios? Would i be able to get away with ET37 or would i need spacers? Thanks

well john@2mod informed me that the coileys will be shipped from him on monday and will be with me next day... so was really just enquiring for next week/end or later...

Saw a silver mk1 172 with silver superleggras pulling out onto st helens road in pennington (leigh) this morning, flashed you... Also saw a red mk2 172 in the queue of traffic heading towards platt bridge coming from bickershaw... anybody?

yeah it will, yeah order it from reno 38ish quid + VAT, and no they wont fit it for you, its easy to do yourself

no service yet, coming up at 18k as ive not passed 2yrs with it yet, im hoping will get a bit more after it. ah good, thought it was something wrong with it.

um quite a few short journeys... it seems to be running smooth as i can tell, although ive never had another car the same to compare it with... hear a bit of a ticking on idle but i dont know if thats normal or not?

its just about 400 miles shy of 16k on the clock, i even tried driving like a old man for a week to see if it went up, but it didnt. Its never been hammered and usually keep revs as low as i can apart from on motorways when in 5th its obviously going to be running high... but cant really see why...

was just looking at the 2002 1.2 16v for sale in the marketplace on here, with the listing stating he gets 45mpg... i drive my 2005 1.2 16v sensibly and hardly ever hammer it, max ive seen is 33-35mpg. Is there something wrong with the car? if there is what might be causing this low mpg?

just tried this, the revs dont build up and the car accelarates like normal. to be honest it feels like the bite point has moved higher up the clutch, like its sort of worn down more. ive not had chance to look for the adjuster yet i will do later though. also, it sort of feels like the bite...

probably me being stupid, but where is the adjuster? also, if i had to get a new clutch what sort of price am i looking at?
