Cheapest 195/45/16 Tyres

Hi all,

Ive been looking round at tyre sites, mytyres.co.uk and etyres.co.uk, just wondering if its worth going for the cheaper brands (only going on a 1.2 16v) or what? I dont want to be putting 80 quid into each tyres, would it be beneficial going to a local tyre place or getting them off the net?

All i will say on the matter is:
Your tyres on the only thing that hold your car to the road, do you really want to cut corners (literally)?

Yeah fair point. So is it possible to get 2 'decent' tyres for around £100 all in?

What about the Uniroyal rainsport 1's on mytyres ? They get a good score in the tyre test , good in the wet and dry £49.30 each

I got my Eagle F1's for less than £50 a corner at Mytyres. Then £15 cash to get my local tyre place to fit and balance all 4.
