Revs and gear-changes make little difference in the real world to fuel consumption.
Using the brakes does. Aim to avoid touching them at all costs and you'll see an extra 10% mpg (if not more) easily.
It's all about smoothness, reading the road, and planning ahead.
Ooh, ouch.
What is it with GT3 RS drivers?
At an Evo magazine day at Brands a while back a GT3 RS went flying into the gravel at paddock, they must have something to prove LOL.
Best I've managed is a 1:27 on Yokohama A032s...which are worth about 3 seconds a lap so 1:30 on road tyres would be bang on for me.
I know where there's at least another 1 second (and maybe more depending on how brave I feel  ) to be had though.
This is one of my earlier...
Not easy to mount then?
Or a fairly simple fix?
I'm having all remaining trim ripped out of mine this week but was going to leave the door-cards in...but it looks like I can retain the speaker and door handle easily if they do come out.
Couldn't live without the windows though due to me...
No idea Martin.
I was thinking this today when discussing with Mike about SORNing my car over the winter.
Got to be somethiuing out there...home contents insurance? LOL
At the ripe old age of 93,250 it's now retired and very definitely just for fun. Don't think it's happy about it though...jealous of the Omega I reckon which is why it threw this hissy-fit!
Don't worry though, even without a front seat, passenger rides will still available at the Airfield *...
We (well he, I just kept the coffee and cheeseburgers coming) did actually get it going. Once.
Something to do with the feed to the fuel pump relay, broken wire somewhere. Once's he's isolated it it'll just get bridged.
Also, while it's there it'll have every single bit of remaining...
I think the Ph-Q front end is soooo much better/more aggressive than the Ph2. I never get anyone move over, but there's something about the Ph-Q, it's the vents below the headlights I think...it screams "GET OUT OF MY WAY!".
Having said that, the Ph2s aren't too bad...
Nothing wrong with my hands sweetness, I grip and stroke it gently.
Serious question for you for a change Ali...
Is there anything in your detailing arsenal that would have stopped that?
Or is it just s*** leather?
I'm going to once I get it going again...planning a few changes elsewhere as well now I don't commute in it anymore.
93,000 - but that's irrelevant in my opinion. Name another make of car with leather wheels that look like that after 3.5 years?
Our 42" is on the wall no probs, with a £20 eBay special bracket. I could hang off it as well and it would still not budge.
A 19"? You could mount that with Blu-Tac ;)
I know what people have said, but when it was turning and not catching, I did it like that with headlights/foglights/rear window demister all turned on and cranked it for 30 seconds.
The headlights didn't dim even slightly, so surely it's not that?
