So does ne1 now if i can get a big fat turbo for my willy engine then ?I really want ot beat my mate in his civic type r.
Contact BB your looking at 6k for the whole setup I think or £3k for the kit without the lower compresion...
You dont have ARB on the back of Clios (v6 expected) due to the suspension design at the back.
All the Mk1 and Mk2s should have front ARBs regardless at the front.

whats the advantages of a willy engine over a meggy bottom end on a valver head with cams, flowd, uprated ecu ?
None infact that combined would be better IMO.
The Williams engine is a valver with a 2.0 botom end (same as the megan...
Ive got the same random plug on my car Ive no idea where it goes to it should go to.
Ive just wedged it out the way and left it. Theres a load of random cables going nowhere Ime not bothered unless the car dosnt work.
Eisbeck springs would be my preference there are more expensive and come well regarded from owners.
Id definatly get the new 58mm hubs and get a full kit though the diference is huge IMO from just spings to matching springs and dampers.
Changing the hubs is very very easy only one bolt...
Should have asked the dealership about a goodwill gesture from Renault if is only that far out of warently. I wouldnt be suprised if they payed 50% or more of the cost.
Its under warently.
Mines on the final level of rebuilt is 2 yrs 1 month old this time its all being rebuilt.
I wish I didnt have it realy just more squeeks and problems.
Cocopops is right its 1 k/ 1 month tolerance
but they have to prove that not having the service has accounted to the problem to refuse/not pay 100% of the warently cliams.
Id only ask if the car getting other wrk done Id not bother with normal service stuff. After all if they dont do the work and the car fails because of it then there libel.
Thats on problem with these uprated pads.
Sandard brakes are good for road use and track abuse it just depends how hard and late you leave it. Ive changed a set of stock pads which had done a few track days etc and the owner didnt have any trouble. However after driving a 182 on he track and...

Traction isnt a huge issue realy on the 182s when your moving.
In the real worl the 182 is quicker IMO more speed on the bends plus the brakes are better.
I think on the 1/4 miles I dont think the V6 are as fast as the 182s though.
The V6 is a flagship car its nothing like a 182. Id love...
Rears are easy.
Jack up car at the back and upbolt the rear strut. Pull the rear suspesnion down to drop the spring out put the new springs tc where the old spring was. Then stick the new shock where the old shock was. Thats it easy as pie.
I cannot see why you should have trouble installing...
As Lunner said its easy get a halnes manual its very simple though just remember how you took it to pieces and stick them back together as you took them to pieces.
The V6 is heavy 1.4 tones plus the 182s particulalry the trophy have a stunning suspension setup.
I think a 182 and a V6 have similar power to weight ratios and although at higer speed the extra Hp makes its fect known the 182s have the advanatge that hey can carry loads of speed round the...
Heres some pics of my car lowered a claimed 60~70mm on coilovers.
Its more like 40 at the front and 60 a the back though.
Most lowering kits never take you as low as they claim.

You dont need a rear strut brace for any suspension advanatage its only useful if you need something to attach your harnesses to.
I believe saftey devices are going out of business or are in administraton so you might be able to get a cheap cage.
£3k will get you throttle bodies. That will see you about 210~220hp. Plus the noise is superb.
With that aswell youll also get a stand alone ECU which can be remapped for when you get cams and head work. Wit an SMT device plus head work etc getting more power will be expensive since youll need...
Ok here what I recon ou hould be looking at paying
continenal tire (rs low pro) £80 or so for 2 front tyres.
pads £57, £17 from Halfords yours is a Mk2 1 with the 239mm disk but wont be much different in price.
discs £100, £50 from the local motor factory place or Halfords for £50 (Ive...
You dont pay £32k for a Clio V6 though. From work I can/could get thm for £22k basic spec. Even at worse youd pay £25k Id guess.
Still there not a car to buy for finacne most new cars depricate like that.
Imagine how much money scoobie drivers loose in one year.
Yes.
Hub spaceing for all Mk 2 phase 2 Clios seems to be 58mm.
Hub spacing is the distance between the bolt spacing on the hubs which can be difficult with some Clios.
