Re: ph1 project take 2
Looks like you've done a nice job with the side strips man, how's the match??
All just done with rattle can's??
You just use halfords primer etc?
Love it, this is exactly what I want for the ph1!
Apparently you can just about keep the original letter size and just lose the white space around the edge of the text?
On the way home tonight I noticed mine didn't move an inch... Nor when I turned the engine off, blinding...
Is it possible to just be stuck on something? Or is it fubar'd?
Oh and there's currently a power cut here, makes me sad. :-(
I just think it looked bang on before, I think you'll agree and put the springs back on within a month ;)
I have a question for you related to home spraying, primer and paint are easy, but you say you wet sand and then machine polish.... I'm assuming this is the lacquer.
When I lacquer part's...
What day is it all going down?
If I'm about, I'll be there without a doubt.
As for the stance, are the camber adjustable on the front? If so, max, done!
Rear springs are ruining it for me, just looks broken and silly, also, what with them not being on the seats, if you hit a bump, what is there to stop such a small spring just falling out?
The bumper work however looks amazing, really impressive.
Love the dedication and unique idea.
Rattle can's :D
No lacquer yet though, which I'm scared of.
The ford gloss black on those wheels is bloody lovely to work with, comes out so nice, but I have a real issue with lacquer... too much and it makes the base coat look very dark/dull, too little and it looks orange peel'y. I can't...
Cheers mate, it's close but not perfect, I'll do the other wheel next week, so I'll have matching pairs, but I'll mask up the whole tyre! LOL!
Cheers, thanks again for the alloy! :)
It's coming off anyway, I prefer to fit pairs :) I think it'll scrub off anyways tbh. :D
Cheers mate...
Great work, keep up with the pics etc, really look forward to seeing it finished.
I'm not sure if it's always your pics, or a few others I've seen, but get a new camera or at least take yours apart and remove the crap from the lense! Please!
Re: ph1 project take 2
So your car is iceberg? Sorry dude didn't pay too much attention?
I only asked about titanium as that's what I thought yours was!
