Re: My 1st contribution to the Dub scene - 1966 VW Split Screen complete resto + good
What a cracking read... as with many of the others, I'm still in shock with regards to £12,000....
Love the attention to detail and doing it yourself approach.
Keep updating this please, subscribed.
Re: My New 2005 Liquid Yellow Clio 182
This looks bloody lovely, only thing that makes the lack of cup packs better is the silver wheels, think they look so much more fresh than the antracite ones.
You have a FULL ph2 dash conversion Craig? I need to talk to you... please :)
AC working and everything?
Seeing all black f1's makes me want to cry, as much as I like the lip on mine, those look so damn nice!
That's a basic start to getting it looking very clean, and lets face it, it's no titanium gear knob ;)
Wax will be a step towards protecting it, halfords do a set with the polish and wax in one, which is quite a good investment for a beginner.
Dave is bang on... in a bit more detail for you (as you say you are a total noob)
Basic Wash:
2x buckets from asda or whatever (£2)
A micro fibre or lambs wool wash mitt from Halfords or one of the detailing websites (around £8)
Meguaris Gold Class Shampoo, quite expensive for a shampoo, but...
Cheers for replying :)
I need someone with the skill to do a lip on some wheels.
Could you get me a rough idea of price please? It's just the lip on two Black o.z f1's (in green)
The sooner the better mate, thanks a lot.
Not keen on the fogs but the rest I love, oh and I'm seriously envious of your wheels, absolute p**n!
A proper SRS question, who did the lip on your wheels? If it was you, fancy giving me a hand with something one day for a crate of beer or a tasty bottle of whisky? ;)
Looks bloody brilliant. I REALLY need a wax. Since owning mine, it's never been waxed (sorry Daniel).
I'm going to give mine it's winter clean on tuesday as long as the weather holds out. Titanium FTW ;)

FLOL at genuine comments on a picture of tyres!!
Get some real pics man and get to work, I like this thread and require updates ;)
Gally, fixing insurance quotes since 2010.
That magazine feature went to his head, don't cha' know.
I'm looking at those images again, and depending upon how much of a perfectionist you are, you could get it back on the road for not too much maybe?
It's only a small dent in the rear wing...
