I need to leave my road wheels somewhere safe as I'll be sticking track wheels on as soon as I arrive.
I can't leave them in my boot as I'll break my neck at the first braking zone...so, how at risk are things left on our "stand"? Have people had things nicked/damaged before?
Anyone care to...
An instructor doesn't affect straight line speed, only corner entry and exit, everyone drives the straight with their foot to the floor. On that video there are two long bursts of straight line acceleration - and he pulls away, but not as much as some of these "it's a fcukuin supercar and would...
Really? I handed this 321bhp M3 its a*** - video
Sure he pulled in a straight line, but it was only as I got to the top of 4th that he really started getting away - and how often does that happen on the roads (120+ mph)?
You'll always get this sort of reaction. I didn't hear you say you...
Mine's only ever known car washes.
I tell a lie...I did hand wash it maybe 4 or 5 times just after I got it.
Lazy?

LMAO at all the cheapskates :rasp:
I bought mine from Yozzasport, because I don't every want to have to buy another one.
You might not be able to see the welds, but they give me the comfort of knowing I'll not have to pay for a replacement because I originally saved £20 on one without...
Filmed Saturday morning, hot dry and sunny :approve:
Something for everyone here, rally cars, bikes, F1 cars old and new. The last two passes filmed were, err, interesting

I'm filling mine up with track rims and sticky tyres and a helmet.
It'll probably still have the mud up the sides from Goodwood last weekend as well.
:approve:
I agree with most above...get it changed.
You have a responsibility on days like that to make sure your car is fit for the purpose and safe. You'll have to sign an indemnity form saying so.
If the trackday/car limits organisor saw your tyre like that, or it was pointed out by another...
I love being on track with them - very hard to get by, needs focus and effort.
Can't wait for FCS - I'm expecting to get properly owned on track by northy's lot.
