Should be a good day, Clarkie's out in his V, and there's a few other "drivers" there too - I just hope the marshalls let us get on with it.
LOL at enthusiastic.
It's how they perform in the dry that counts. In the wet, go slower.
I've had 3 sets in total now, and all 3 have been given death on track regularly.
They can handle heat, they don't shed treadblocks like PE2s do, and their behaviour at and beyind the limit is very progressive.
As a road...
I'm looking at either one of these two at the moment.
Need to have HDMI input for my Sky HD and these seem reasonable enough price wise too.
Can't say about sound quality, but with the power available I'm sure it'll be good enough.

Never had a problem on any of the days I've been to, but they have been "closed" trackdays and not action days where everyone wants to be a hero in front of the crowds.
Having said that, when cliosport all went recently I don't think there were too many problems.
Still get the odd muppet in...
He probably couldn't lose the speed he thought he could as he was light over Avon.
I reckon most of those were either their first lap out or last before coming in.
Avon Rise - makes me pucker up every time - top of 4th or low 5th for me so 125mph, blind entry with no sight of the apex, and a gentle left over the brow while trying to lose speed for Quarry. I don't think I've ever really attacked it because there's potential for such a huge f*** up...
It's like the old "which is heavier, 1 ton of bricks, or 1 ton of feathers?".
If he was asking if a 3MP image is the same size as a 10MP image you'd be right.
But he's asking if two 6x4 images are the same size...which they obviously are...both 6x4.
I think the rolling radius might be slightly bigger on the ones I use, but not so much that you'd notice any difference at all.
The only real difference I can tell when running the 15" track tyres is the noise from the tread pattern, and the crashy low speed ride from the stiff sidewalls...
I run 205/50/15s on track on standard suspension and rubbing's never been an issue.
Got some 15" rims for sale too if you're interested...could bring them to FCS?
It's an add-on to an HIC policy. Full cover, £500 excess (if you can prove that you've been on track before), no limit to the number of days per annum, all applies so long as the organisor is either a;

I think it...
Ha ha ha :)
I'm playing through (slowly) Forza 2 at the moment. Enjoying learning the tracks and the individual intracacies of the different cars.
I can see what you're saying about driving/playing...but I actually learn from this. The dynamics modelling in Forza is very very good, so I like...
...I've been talking about getting one of these for ages. Been watching one on eBay for the last week, but no matter how much I want/need one, I struggled with the idea of spending £200+ on it.
Then she goes and makes the decision for me, early Happy Birthday MarkCup :D
I only got it tonight...
