    Ball joint mounting bolts

I think the 10's were re-designed to be 12's after they caused play and knocking due to the holes in the wishbone being 12mm.

    Ball joint mounting bolts

I have no idea on the 1.4, but I'd go for the 12mm bolts if yours are large to begin with, 12mm is the thread size, the bolt head size will be 17mm irrc, could be bigger though. Oh and as Budge' says, they're not seized, they're just stiff.

    Two weeks of 172 Ownership

Car looks really nice mate, good swap on the Turini's, I think you got the better end of the stick there somehow! You've done the same progression as me, mkph1 1.2 >mk2ph1 2.0 and you've done the mk2ph2 version, bet you love the power! Oh and I'm appalled at owning a skoda splitter, fitting...

Tools - Sockets, wrenchs, spanners etc

With the Halfords kit you get torx bits, ratchet spanners and all sorts, quite a bit more than what you just put up, not to mention if you break it, jump in the car, go to Halfords, swap tool for new one. If you break the ratches (which I haven't seen done yet) then they refurb the whole set for...

Fitting a hands-free kit? HELP NEEDED

The first question, I'm not sure, just give it a go? (sorry) The second, the best place to pick up an easy ignition live is probably on the back of the headunit, that way you don't need to fuse it either really as it's already fused.
