    Burpspeed: Mallory Park Race Report

Great read, a real shame about the alternator though. Is it just a case of buying a brand new one or buying an uprated one???

    Another joiner from Southend

Welcome mate, there's a few of us around the SE, and essex meets seem quite regular at ace cafe and similar. If you pay for full membership you'll have access to the meets section as well as parts for sale and guides.

FLOL at showing you the belt.... I assume you haven't look around the site that much yet mate, but basically, if the belt's aren't done by a specialist, they're almost always done wrong, the car may have had the belt done 4 years ago, and not done many miles at all, so could look new, but it'd...

    172 spoilers

Ph2 vee is the same as the trophy, so requires shorter struts or it hits the boot and scratches it up. Oh and Alex, buy a shorter aerial, or get a ph1 ;)

    Looking at 172 PH1 tommorow

People on here would be more than willing to help you find something in the south, or alternatively, travel a bit for a real lovely motor. There's a thread recently on someone picking up a car and the belt going on the way home, you really wouldn't want that happening.

JMS Setup fitted to a PH1

Don't worry about that mate, take off the standard elbow and that little pipe, where that pipe comes from, you put the mini JMS pipe with the breather on the end and then obviously fit the silicone bend onto the TB, done.

JMS Setup fitted to a PH1

Pardon chap? I took the breather pipe off completely, put the new bit of pipe and the mini filter on there. Sweet as.

    My driveshaft problems found out...

I know you can use tie's, but I've ALWAYS had better results with jubilee clips, greatly reduces to chance of having CV grease everywhere. Which, lets face it, is never a bad thing!

    172 spoilers

He's wrong. 4 Renault spoilers exist: Dynamique / Ph1 "s" model / 172 regular spoiler Renault "Double spoiler" which is quite rare (for a reason) Cup spoiler Trophy / Ph2 v6 spoiler All will bolt straight on, the TROPHY spoiler requires shorter struts, that's all. Oh and empty your PM's...

    Help Rear exhuast hanger problems

Bit of grease and you're away, I had this problem, tiny bit of silicone spray, or wd40 or whatever and it slides right off. Strange, but true.

    Can someome with a 200

Drive it to a Renault garage mate, either that or you're really not making your point clear enough to RUK, as tbh if I were you I'd be fecking fuming!
