simply undo the bolts slightly on the left hand mount, slide it forward towards the front of the car and do the bolts up again.

There are 3 mounts. The one on the left of the engine bay probably needs adjusting. Bring it as far forward as it can go. This is what causes most of the knocking.

err... yeah i had a camera, and was behind many trophys. The thing is because of the rain its hard to make out reg plates on the video. If it was near the beginning of the session, then yes i have you on film for a quite a while. Im currently sorting out my FTP and ill let you know. /Dan.

i think its less, because most buyers dont see the appeal of a model without all the toys, especially ABS.

I waited until i was 21 to get the RS for this exact reason mate. insurance prices were just way too high.

mike172sport he has done what you want... bought the dash panel and fitted his own screen. Hes also done other peoples the same way.

i would never pay that to insure a car. i would wait.

im 21, 3 years NCD, no crashes etc, good area kept in carpark. 8k miles a year in my 172. Im currently paying £1080 with Greenlight Insurance, all mods declared.

how would you recommend removing a fused on rear disc on a 172 jay? its only been on there for 6 weeks but wont budge. Didnt want to use penetrating oil because i thought i may damage the bearings.

i wouldnt think twice about having them on another car. however, i went from a 4x4 1.4 clio to a 172 with eibachs, so i noticed a huge difference.
