Theres a black Lambo up the road from me with old skool registration plates... hes also had it de-badged and replaced them with a "Smart" sticker from a smart car PMSL.

its getting old now, has one of the early centre sections and its making strange noises. I just fancied a change, but now thinking about seeing K-tec about the random internal rattling noises on idle and getting it sorted.

yesterday covered nearly 300 miles going to TRAX in my Mk1 172.... I reset my MPGometer before i went, and averaged 40.6mpg for the whole journey :) around town i constantly get 35/36mpg. I have a K-tec zaust and Pipercross filter. /Dan.

Was 4 of us in convoy back from TRAX, first came across a Dynamique, who i waved at and had a sticker. Then i dropped back from the rest of the pack, and came across a Silver Mk2 172... and had fun as we cought up with the others :devilish: Was with us for about 60miles all the way back to...

i seem to remember using the steering wheel remote controls to put in the code on my old HU.

i would check that you can insure all the mods youve talked about then... because im sure the insurance will end up being the same as insuring a 172.
