Okay... so i thought i could run the speaker cable through the rubber connector between the door and chassis... but its a big plastic plug, so cant run seperate cables through there.
So how do i get new speaker cable through to the doors?
Thanks.
leave the original grommet alone, dont touch it.
get a drill and drill a hole just below the existing grommet. Then go to Maplin's and buy another grommet for your new hole.
there already is a guide, however it doesnt detail how f**king hard it is using 4gauge cable! lol
i did this on saturday and ended up making my own hole and gromet, loads easier with the 4gauge.
At the shell station by Sainsburys tonight at 8:15.
you were parked at the pump, i drove past very slowly to get the reg plate, but i forgot it by the time i got home lol

I used a larger drill piece to bevel the edge of the hole so the sip tie would fit better. The pretty pattern was just a fluke.
To tighten up all the zip ties, simply tighten the top ones first with a pair of pliers to grip the end of the tie. The bottom ones are easy becuase the tie's are...
Mounting an Amplifier to your rear seats
The back of the Clio rear seats aren’t solid, therefore they need to be modified to be able to attach an Amp. The method used when writing this guide worked very well, and took me approximately 1.5 hours to complete.
This was done in my Mk2 Ph1 172...
The main problem with that is that my amp has the connectors on either end... so will look very messy with the cables showing, and the connectors will get wet if its raining and i open the boot.
on my 172 there is a zip going round the outside of the rear seats which allows you to flap open the back panel. Ive had it all off today to work out how to attach the MDF to the seat... im sure if i take my time i can make it work.
