No need for sponge.
It will 90% of the time be cables under there rattling.
Take the dash board off and go for a drive, putting your finger on cables that rattle. Then simply get a small cable tie and tie the cable down to something (often a larger cable).
This will stop most of the...
...and send your Ph1 stips my way :D
looks good. have you also coded the inside of the front lower grille?
im sure mine has more black in there than yours! lol
it becomes unlocked if you crash.
the bit in the manual probably refers to the fact that it depends where you are hit. I imagine that if you are hit from behind then they wont unlock, whereas in a head on collosion there will be something under the bonnet that releases the doors.
I hope.
You think it will hold with velcro to the back of the seats?
Also, i see there are zips around the seat to take off the cover, however i cant see the actual zip part that you pull.. just the teeth.
I heard on TalkAudio forums that you shouldn't have the power cable and the RCA's next to eachother. They should be on opposite sides of the car to reduce feedback.
could try that if you're running the power and RCAs down the same side?
where the bonnet release grommet is, in the passenger footwell below the fuse box.
There's a guide for it if you look in Articles.
I'm doing the exact same thing tomorrow... prepare yourself for skin-less hands :)
Want to attach my amp to the back of the rear seats in the boot, but I cant find anything solid to attach it to. All i can feel is springs.
How has everyone else managed this?
or where are other people's amps?
You want to do this:
o +ve ------------ oooo ========= Mid
Loooooooooooooo C/Oooooooooo
o - ve ------------ oooo ========= Tweeter
o +ve ------------ oooo ========= Mid
R ooooooooooooooC/Oooooooooo
o - ve ------------ oooo ========= Tweeter
my car idles badly using 95ron.
it could be that it hadnt had time to adjust, or it could be that its inferior petrol.
However, for £2 more a tank... i will put in what i know is good for it :)
Wow thats very stripped out... must have saved a few Kilo's there.
i dont think the wheels suit the car, but you car clearly isnt about looking good... its about driving good :)
