Yeah i've got a poly dogbone aswel, but that was done last year.
They weren't that hard to change tbh, the hardest thing was finding a 16mm deep socket to fit the engine mount nut,
you'll need a trolly jack and a square of wood to put under the sump tank to support the engine,
then the same for...
Haha sorry mate, I don't know what people are on about with the vibration mines perfect,
plus me and DCIRaz fitted them, so you'd think with me being involved they'd be vibrating like f*ck.
But all i've got is instant power!
My 172 made 151 at the wheels at the RR day I went to with the West Mids lot,
taking into account a 15% or so loss through the drive train,
my flywheel power only worked out 173bhp, or is my maths sh*t?
Mine's got, V6 box, matched inlets, Piper exhaust, Fastchip remap.
How have they worked...
I hate you all, I had this idea months ago but finding a Mk2 Ph3 Campus in a scrap yard isn't easy.
Anyway it doesn't matter as my smoothed bullets with be a one off DaveDreads custom design. ;)
£200quid from K-Tec, you'll more than likely find them cheaper in the for sale section,
but you may have a bit of a wait and you need to get in there first aswel.

Zero increase in vibration, the car judders a bit more on start up but that's it,
idle vibration is exactly the same as it was.
It's a small change in acceleration but it's noticeable mate,
the power delivery definitely feels more instant from not only a standing start,
but also when you drop a...
Bits of it, I scraped all the sh*t out of the front the other week and went over it with some Mr Muscle,
but the back's still all f*cked up. :o
You coming to the West Mids meet on Monday evening mate?
I don't think i'd be able to resist taking it apart tbh,
even without any money i'd have probably dismantled it by now,
then put it back together just to see how it's all works.
Decent socket set, a load of spanners, torque wrench, haynes manual
and that would be my spare time sorted. :approve:
I've been seeing this thing on the road for the last year in it's camo/optical illusion wrap.
The A46 from Cov to Stratford was a test route for it, so almost every week i'd see it on the road,
even with the wrap I thought it looked gash, now I can see it in all it's glory I know I was right...
Went to work and back in it.
Absolutely hooned it about and realised that what I thought was instant power really wasn't,
the new solid engine and gearbox mounts DCIRaz and me fitted are amazing.
Hit the throttle and it now feels like you're getting fired out of a cannon,
minimal drive train...
I'll more than likely get 1.2 bullets tbh, less to sand down. :approve:
Cheers for the offer though.
I tried that, they wouldn't sell me the bullets without the bump strips. :dapprove:
What bullets were they to begin with?
I'll be making myself a custom set soon, but i'm not sure which ones would be best to sand flat.
Oh and they look really good.
I take you or Dan have had a good look at the wishbones, ball joints, tie rods & track rod ends?
My guess would be wheel balancing, maybe you've lost a weight of one of the fronts?
So according to the calender next Monday's meet is here,
i've not seen anyone mention it on here so I thought i'd put it up just in case.

Do we have to book at this place or can we show up on mass and still get food?
Makes perfect sense mate, i'm a portrait studio photographer by trade,
but i've never used them outdoors, they're good results for a single exposure.
Bracketing the exposure ftw. :approve:
How much tweaking in photoshop did you have to do?
So how are you balancing the lights with the daylight to get an even exposure?
Are you using a light meter and checking ambient daylight,
then metering the flashes and getting them within the same aperture give or take a stop or two either way?
Or are you taking multiple images and exposing...
