Indeed it is, garage had a look at it when they changed my drivers shaft for me (around 5 weeks ago) also, a dogbone mount wouldn't make the steering wheel jerk would it?
UPDATE
Ok so we found the offending balljoint, (it was quite bad, not sure how we didn't notice it) changed it, still clunking! FUCKER!!!!
I think now think it may be top mount, as it can be made to do it if you reverse, brake, go forward, brake, reverse brake.... etc....
I have comp brake...
Queing is for winners, although I can't decide, do i queue at my local o2 store (a relatively small one) or do I shoot to canary wharf or bluewater in hope there will be more?
Ok so costing:
7 months left on iphone contract, £35 p/m 18 months, taking out new 18month'er same:
Total cost of PAYM: £630
7 months left on iphone contract, £35 p/m, switch to £20 simplicity for 11 months (for equality of 18 month duration):
Total cost of PAYG £645
(THIS IS ASSUMING THE...
FINE-A-LEEEEE
That's annoyed me though, I think I want an 18 month, £35 a month'er.
iPhone sells for £300
£140 on contract pay off
£180 for new phone
New iPhone costL £20
I did originally want to go PAYG, but now I'm finding it hard to justify...
Yes mate, the "connecting loom" is just two wires, going to two plugs on one side and one on the other I believe.
Take that little bit of loom out and put in a new wire, then just test it with 9v or something :)
Great stuff, reading these reports makes me smile from ear to ear tbh and I can't even describe how much want to do something similar myself. (When I've been in employment for more than 4 months) lol!
Considering it sounds like you had a bit of a mare, you still finished very well. Keep up the...

Yeah they are mate, I just need to know what size the bolts/holes are so I can get the right ones from the motor factors. I've already ordered in a 12mm, so I hope I'm right, or I'll be in "le shite"
Should have gone for the mx5!! You could have tried to show off your "drifting skills" again in that! ;)
BTW, I can't believe you got away with the thread title "Back in the Clio gang" without getting flamed.
We're like a motorcycle gang, but gayer.
Same price from my local factors mate, but yeah NWP is a good shout as it gives you the right size straight away.
I'll update this thread tonight when I know if a 12mm fits my ph1!
Cover the window in gaffa tape before you smash, saves it going everywhere. £1 for gaffa tape, £0 for a brick of a nearby falling wall, £20 for glass, cheaper than the aa!
So we'll get two records then?
Most Clios
Most pointless record to hold
I quite like the idea, largely because it'll be mainly members of CS, and I'm all for doing something random as a club to make FCS less stale.
