RX 480 4GB is sub 200 and performs on par (it's a few fps less at most) with a 970. I think that's pretty good for the price tbh.
Makes a lot of sense for the average 1080p gamer. And 1440p for that matter

Chrome.
It just can't be beaten at the minute. You'll get a few people who will post in here with some really obscure browser choices which they don't actually use but have installed because they're trying to seem nerdy and impressive, but just chrome. It does everything too well.

If you follow the procedure you'll be fine. So long as you use them properly from time to time and don't let them glaze over.
Drop me a message in a few weeks and let me know what you think of them and I'll get myself a set I think. Standard ones are really hit and miss at times. Think they...
Have you done the proper bedding in procedure with them? Seriously needs doing or they work like s**t in comparison

Northwest performance are a BIG no no. Horrific work.
Always worth the travel to a specialist if you can't do the work yourself.
Hi btw, I'm only in failsworth
Drury lane is where I go. Nice waiting room, nice staff and they'll put whatever specs you want on the car.
You don't have to leave it there all day either, just say you'll need to wait with the car as you're in a rush.
The jack is at the rear jacking point lol. But the chassis is very stiff. The drivers front wheel is almost off the ground at that point too.

So turns out it was the TDC sensor. Really easy to do on the MK3. Given it a clean up and all is well. Got a replacement ordered so I'll swap that out at some point. Starts better than it did before the issue too.

So the car strikes again.
A few days ago the car wouldn't start, just turned over at the normal speed but wouldn't fire. Immobiliser light was out and no warnings or faults on the dash either. After a few attempts it started and was fine for about a week.
Went out to the car again and same...
Looks good. I know what you mean about overpriced and really bad condition. Took me an age to find mine and it was actually the cheapest of the lot I looked at!
For gaming no. No games are really taking advantage of and more cores than 4. And if you're only using 1 GPU and not multiple whilst using m.2 storage and sata express etc then you don't need the extra PCIe lanes they provide either.
It's in my thread but long story short all the wires are just hidden behind the dash, the CD changer is on an extension loom so you just disconnect it and the stalk controls are plugged into a blank behind the climate panel.
It's not even a BIOS anymore technically speaking it's the UEFI. Think the only people using a BIOS in gaming grade stuff and consumer based is gigabyte and the GUI based BIOS.
