I'm after some for one of the Clios.
I've seen some on ebay which have a display which looks rubbish IMO
Want something with just a bog standard beeper.
Saw this but unsure

Also wanted to be colour coded if the sensor is drilled into the bumper.
Short and...
Sorry mate but 100% you've ticked a box to say you're happy for them to do that. A similar one is that if you pay monthly your full years premiums is taken from a total loss settlement.
The first is a terrible clause but is in nearly all insurance policies. They are obliged to send you a quote...
Haven't checked for cracks no as I only had a quick drive and check over earlier.
Past the multiplex page is in the second video where it lets you select the individual modules. Tried to connet. Gets flashing lights on the dash then cant connect. Works fine on the other 2 DCIs
Didn't want to...
One of our DCI's has an ABS problems.

The...
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
Woah
Painting was poop with the brush and took ages between the coats. You should start offering a postal decat service ;)
Proper decat would be super. I try and do everything mechanical before getting to the cosmetics but I'll stick to ghetto at the moment...
Alex_W I am trying my hardest to get it sorted by next week but I'm pretty sure it won't happen with the pace my new parts are being delivered. Everything keeps busting!
Need to sort the decat too!
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
Changed the oil yesterday which I did in 25 minutes, was rather happy with that. Filter position gives no room for oil wrench though.
Starting with what's been ordered. Genuine new front shocks and a cat. I will be decatting the car at the same time as having...
Couple of little bits more than that.
If you did pas delete you'd end up doing a/c delete as well. Couple of the guys use cup alternator set up with a shorter belt. I used a renault 5 bracket which was a bit smaller.
you'd also need a power cable for the steering ECU.
I'm not aware of anyone...
The coil light comes on often with an EGR fault however it can come on for a whole variety of reasons.
As you've worked out, ignore the first one.
In the SH of my red DCI they replaced the crank sensor due to it not starting. Common problem and a new one comes with new wiring loom.
EGR fault...
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
Finished ordering all the parts now. Car should be running beautifully when I get this all on.
Low mileage genuine front dampers
Eibach pro-kit springs
Brand new genuine rear dampers
New steering gaiter (needed for MOT)
Ball joints
Millers nano-drive 5w-40...
Problems tend not to get better unfortunately.
Further damage (to other parts) is unlikely. To the column, if it's the bearings, motor, they might just give out one day but it would take a while.
You'll likely have to repair before sale so it's best to bite the bullet and do it. Give it a go...
£2k should see you pick up something very good.
As said, travel for the best ones.
Get club membership and look in the classifieds, it's where the best bargains and best maintained cars are. Lots of people advertise there and nowhere else.
Re: Valuation advice - 172 Rep
Not 100% sure on the price as I haven't looked at the value of these for ages but I think those wheels will put a fair few people off as they don't look standard.
Flog separately and put 172 alloys on.
It is low mileage so your price seems about right, advertise...
If you do everything methodically and take your time no.
Write a list of every part you take off in order and then follow it back when reassembling.
Should you doubt anything just put some loctite on all the bolts you undo and put back together. Don't do that on the dash trim etc but on the...
Same mate. Haven't heard of the motor going really. Whole column is slightly trickier if you aren't that confident though (what if the car has no steering etc!)
To change the EPAS column it's easiest to take the whole lower dash off because of the motor. Or you can do as I said earlier and...
