renault parts?
I paid about £300 for renault rear discs and pads with new rear bearings, brembo high carbon front discs and EBC Greenstuff pads inc fitting
I aint a massive fan of the 197's front end, sits a bit too high for my liking, looks amazing from back and side and angles from back / side, it's a nice car and handles extremely well and if you're happy good!
google creative shop europe, creative sell old stock (brand new and refurb) through an ebay shop and it's often very cheap, under £50 for good 4 or 5GB players...
^ if I had a downhill beast like that there's probably not a lot I wouldn't ride! Mines got 4" of travel but when I've ridden something with 6" of travel (an Enduro expert with Fox R36's) it was night and day on the downhill stuff so a DH bike would be better still I imagine.

copper slip is to grease the back of the pad, not the friction surface.

Anti squeel shims might be the answer if not correctly installed

No point getting a renault exhaust as they hold water and it'll just happen again. 24k I think was the magic number for me.
