Bear in mind that the 197 has the already highly tuned 172 / 182 engine so I think you'd have to spunk a lot of money on it to get an extra 20brake. Wait till the cars run in and then time yourself again! 172/182 can do 0-60 in 6.5 quite frequently I believe.

182 uses an alloy skinned cat instead of ceramic or something, the first Renault production car to do so. Quite free flowing as already said, after all most of the 182's gains over the 172 are due to the exhaust system.

un cup'd 182 has different hubs to the 182, it uses 172 hubs. But still has a wider track than the 172 due to the gubbins behind the wheels (ARB etc). the 182 has a 12mm wider track up front compared to the 172 and 16mm at the back. Different castor angle too.

well nobody has ever commited to trying it before on an un-cup'd 182, they are quite rare beasts. The camber would be out due to the wider track of the 182 (compared to 172) so I would have thought camber bolts would be required at the very least. And if they dont provide enough of a fix then...

not sure about mk1's I'm afraid. I have 5 I think, one of them the packaging is a bit dirty but I'll try cleaning it up before anyone starts thinking it'll go cheap lol.

I always remove my sat nav before I pull into the car park / space I'm gonna stop in in case I'm being watched. Trust nobody. I leave nothing in sight in the car, people always wanna leave jackets on seats etc. no chance! in the boot.
