Right well the car is now finished and.................. it doesnt start lol
Car is completly dead, no brake lights, indicators, doesnt turn over, no relays click.
I have tryed checking all the earths and i think they are all right. I suspect it could be the standard loom which i have done...
I don't think ACW do thermoforming, they only do fronts with sliders and rear 1/4's. They can't make the rear screen so I will be buying mine from p4p. Depending if you can wait around a month Ph-rebone and I were going to see if p4p could get us a cheaper price for the rear screen. Probably...
Good lad, get rid of the little light unit and wires. You can have your climate control fan hidden away then.
Shame the visors weigh quite a bit too, not tempted by a tw*t strip?
Right well yesterday I decided to tidy up the door and remove the rest of the electric window motors/regulators. I did this so I could then hold the glass in by putting long bolts through the metal for the glass to sit on.
Anyway cutting a long story short I couldn't get one of the clips off...
Right really need some of your thoughts.
After my most epic failure ever today i need to buy my windows asap before it starts to rain too hard!!!
So striaght to the point, on the front sliders should i get 4 holes, 1 large hole or just the usuall square cut out.
Have a look in the gallery...
I think i know what you mean. I have the ceramic resistor but dont have any instructions. At the end of the day yes i want the cut off switch for if i bin it on track but also want it because it adds a bit more security to the car when i leave it parked at the ring when i sort of put it back on...
As long as you have all the tools and parts you'll able to rebuild it nice and quick.
Is 1degree negative camber on the rear going to be enough for you? Most race cars/track cars are running more like 3 on the rear! We could all have too much for all I know I havnt driven mine with that amount...
Small Update again :)
Sorted the battery out today after work. Pics are bad because it was getting dark!
So i had mounted my battery under the passenger seat when i got the battery a year or so ago and i had decided on a place to mount the cut off switch in a place where i wouldnt knock it...
There is a small standard loom which I have hidden in the fire wall. But yes the OMEX ecu is now located inside the car in a nice tidy Place :)
I bought the 19mm 180degree silicon bend from eBay. Just type 180 degree silicon bend into eBay and you'll find one. I also just typed in 19mm alloy...
Hoping get it running (not necessary finished) in a few weeks. I am so busy during the week I am struggling to find time to get the last little bits done. But I finished rebuilding my dads car yesterday so at least I only have to get 1 car done now.
Tony what's wrong with the hose clips I have...
Another update.
Finished my new engine loom, every connector had been measured out perfectly so I have no excess loom to make the engine bay look messy!
Now it's all connected to the right sensors :)
Also finished off the heater matrix delete with a proper alloy pipe and hose...
Yeah i never liked the servo pipe going round the back of the mani and the throttle cable was a bit gash the way it went + the fact i cut it too short when re-routing so had to buy a new one lol
I want to replace the stock fule rail but then i'd need to replace the fuel line and then dont you...
