i presume its members cause we discussed going but didnt really have any way of letting you know I was there!
Also spotted mk2 172 silver, a couple having a snog while andya4 was perving through the window.
there's some silver 172 cups around too, some of which have climate control. These are probably one of the rarest RS clio's around.
to tell the difference between a 172 cup and 172, the cup comes with speedline turini multispoke alloys. It has cloth interior instead of half leather seats and...
yeah upto 2001 on a Y plate is the mk1 172, old shape. (Mk2 phase 1), 51plate on to 53 (a few 04's too) is mk2 172. (Mk2 phase 2 clio, same shape as a 182)

if you can get a mint mk2 172 for £7k or a mint 182 for £9k on similar...
mk1 172 gearbox is different too so using a mk2 172 / 182 lump are the preset rev limits different? That'd make a difference 0-60 surely.
But who cares, there's f**k all in it between them all. Most members can't drive properly anyway it's just a pissing contest.
you'll see a patch of oil under the corner u suspect is leaking. But if they've gone ages ago there's probably no oil left, you'll hear a clunk in the corners that have gone too.
Makes handling... interesting, quite fun actually. Back end steps out a lot when the rears have gone.
