I see roundabouts get a mention. They are notoriously slippy as when buses and lorries change gear they dump some diesel out their exhausts.
pilot error, these cars handle fine thanks.
only time I've lost mine in the wet was when the tyres were practically on the legal limit - not advisable!
its very easy to use but its very easy to model something incorrectly. It works similarly to pro e but doesnt require nearly as many constraints so you can plod away producing shight without realising it.
Good tool, but only if you know what you're doing!
I've used it myself for about 4...
solidworks is alright aye.
I use Solidedge, quite impressed with it, loads of good features.
If you're used to Autocad, consider Autodesk Inventor. But if your company can afford it just get Pro Engineer.
it's in Cambuslang, turn right off london road at the big junction by McDonalds and the Arnold Shark place and take a left at the wee roundabout.
Pain in the arse, had this problem trying to get my laptop power adapter earlier in the year.
lol, im gonna measure the bolt spacing on mine this week, got my eye on some koni dampers going locally.
Way i see it, un-cup'd uses 172 hubs, but track is wider so the camber is put out by using 172 suspension without camber correction bolts.
But those shocks which are slotted give camber...
Anyone use them? Any downside to using them?
My options:
Koni adjustable dampers with eibach sport lines springs (using camber correction bolts).
or
FK Coilovers.
:S
6speeds are for shorter ratios to keep you in the power band, classic example of a car that excels due to it is the GTI-6. They dont add a 6th gear as an overdrive, this car is not a cruiser.
IMO bit naive to think it would be an overdrive in a car like this.
:quiet:
Anyway, fair play...
bacon with a Porker? more like lawyer! lol
saying your a student, big deal - how many people start and quit uni / colege in the first year?! loads. How many night courses are there, loads. If they dont look for evidence, so be it.
yes should do, but only if you get the right wheels i.e. correct centre bore size, correct offset, correct bolt number and pitch circle diameter.
You're looking for:
Centre bore of 60.1mm
4 x 100 (bolts and PCD)
offset between 35 & 45
