lol Roy is a man on a mission 6th gear wouldn't be taller than 5th, just a shorter throw in between so you'd all be moaning for 7th gear for motorway. with 6 gears you may even need 3rd gear for 60mph

lol I love being in Scotland when I hear that :rasp: I can get a test drive on Friday at 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, Saturday the same, Sunday 11am, 1pm, 3pm... every week for the next month. thats for a 197 but the date that suits me I can also try a Megane 225 at the same garage.

why does it need to be a 182 interior? mk2 172 interior is the same (almost) bar the wee white dots on the seats (white on the 182 but not on the 172)

well a 172 has 172 ps a 182 has 182 ps so chances are the 197 is 197ps replace 'has' with 'is supposed to have'

Anyone else get a thing through the post today, RS lanyard and 'Driver Pit Pass' inviting you to drive a 197? I think I will just for the sake of it, will take my Lanyard to Oschersleben next week for the 24hr race too.
