Re: One Year on & £**** spent
Yeah as stated above, i stretched the filter over each trumpet. And then i pulled the filter away from the trumpets and it hold itself in place.
As you can see from the picture the plastic fan is touching the sausage filter.
Can i run a smaller more powerfull fan so it wont touch the filter. I will eventually get a smaller rad to do with the fan but for now i just wanted to no if it can be done this way.
Where can you get smaller...

I bet theres not much else you can buy for your car? lol
So i've been having a think about trying stiffen up the standard mounts.
Can you fill the engine mount with some stiff silicon? I'm sure i saw somthing ages ago that someone on here did it but cant remember who it was. So the silicon would still allow the engine to move but not as much...
Re: One Year on & £**** spent
Cheers
I never drove the car mapped correctly with the restrictive socks, but the power feels the same with the K-Tec sausage filter on and off. Very good filter, not restrictive at all.
You fit it by taking the trumpets off and sliding them into the sausage...

Re: One Year on & £**** spent
The big snowfoam bottle only had a little but in so i poured it all in to the snowfoam lance. But the was more than i thought so i had about 2" of liquid in the bottle. And the lance was set at its max. Uber snowey.
Yeah I'd like a new rad and fan but i now...

The engine bay is...
I have all the time in the world at the moment. Being a student and not having the right resorces at home to do uni work i can work on my car all day everyday.
I randomly decided to clay my 182 today, forgot how long it takes though so i'll finish it off tomorrow :)
