u talking 1.9 I take it?
I used to put the arse out on my 1.6 in the wet deliberatley because you knew you could predict it. Never ever had it out of shape in a big way, and I drive hard.
lol it won't fall off, a lot safer than the bootracks. it does cause a wee leak where it interferes with the door seal but sh_t happens eh! it'll be off next monday
the 1.6just doesnt let go, I really dunno how anyone could crash one - so much fun. Yet without the crazy speeds the RS's etc are capable of, I find myself going into bends on B-Roads about 10mph faster in the 182 than in my 1.6 gti, all good fun
well the 1.6gti defo handles better than my 182, never driven a trophy so can comment. But the 205gti handles like anything on £30 OEM shockies wheras the Trophy is on £3k shockies! lol
It's Thule - the best, I got it locally but you can get them from a website called 'skidrive' - It's about £110 for the roofrack, then £50 for a bike carrier to go on it. Not RRP's, RRP's are much higher! I paid £165 for the roofrack with one bike carrier (with a 20% discount), Ally on here and...
they idle badly as it is, its the vvt keeping emissions down.
each to their own, its default settings (timing) are for 98ron but it can easily cope with 95.
The one big difference i noticed was the engine noise, it didnt sound as refined as it did using 97/8.
noise might change back to what you're used to after a few tanks full of 95 and the ecu adjusts the timing to suit...
nah for economy and year round fun PE2's all the way. Lots of tyres are good in the dry but for wet and dry nothing can touch the PE2 - Pilot exalto fullstop even used to run them on my 205gti too. they do last well too.
