Got round to redoing my gearbox oil today as the comma was just awful after a 100 miles. Had to be careful putting into gear as it just crunched.

Fit a flexi. I already had this work completed and thought I'd posted photos. I supplied all the pipe flexi and vvand and csk exhausts welded it up for me.

Not indexable either! What sort of surface finish are you after on a log mani? I know usually you dont want it polishes otherwise doesn't seal but then you dont want it rough either.
Planning on running an end mill on it then onto some 600 grit?
I presume itll pull flat once bolted to the head...

As some will know I serviced the 182 at the weekend. New genuine elf engine oil, box oil, filter, washers and pollen filter. Old one was surprisingly nasty!
Didn't go as planned when I put a litre of engine oil in my gearbox ? so had to redrain that and fill with some comma box oil to tide me...
