I'd personally get some 10mm/5mm rear hub spacers from PMS. I'm running et43 2118s with 10mm rears. 5mm would bring you fairly close to what I'm running looks wise on the back. Doubt you'd have any scrubbing issues going 10mm though.
This atleast allows you to retain standard bolts on the back...
It's a 1.2 with a plastic rocker cover, you will always end up with mayo under your filler cap. Just needs a good run and that will go.
Are you sure you're using coolant? Top it up. They often weep from the water pump on 1.2s.
Injectors will be the misfire most likely
Clios look bad with any form of widening? Eh?
You're literally filling the arches more how can this look bad?
Tbf you think that VW looks good so that says it all ;)
This is just the same as doing it with the car cold. Makes no difference. Sounds like you've already tried moving the needle to no avail so I'd look out for some clocks of similar mileage.
Would I be able to hear clicking on full lock quite easily or does it require 2 People? I can't hear anything and full lock doesn't feel notchy.
My exhaust is quite loud though
Popper over to @overboost and had some new SNR bearings pressed into my previously painted hubs. Andy struggled with removing the old bearings, but I had soaked them in deox c, then left them for a few weeks so led to believe that seized them up more! He got there in the end, so happy days...
I'll be getting booked in with bram soon myself. I wouldn't use all car tyres and autocare, I had to explain how to adjust the camber bolts, and even then it pulled still after 3 attempts
I spoke to Neil @greenlight and he said that insurance was potentially going up from beginning of Jan. I got mine secured before then, but this could also explain the rise.
So I'm getting lots of different replies when asking whether this cv is knackered.
I cleaned it prior to the video of all cv grease.
Does it need changing? I have no clicking or knocking. I'm changing the wishbones next weekend anyway so changing the driveshaft won't be an issue, but if it's...
I tried one at first on my BG and wasn't keen. Don't know if its because the car was standard and just had a sunstrips or the fact it was a silk one?
I've since seen nialls and that looks great, but it's slightly smaller than mine was.
In tempted by an anthracite one tbh
