Yes Mark your words are correct but you conveniently neglected the fact that they are rebuildable for not much more than a replacment pair of much inferior dampers to reinforce your argument that the trophy is an less attractive option.
Why would you want to replace them when you can get them refurbished?
Also i got some off eBay recently for £370, £185 each, not exactly expensive.

When Mark fitted mine we really tightened them went for a drive tightened again etc and then marked where they were. Not moved since but i do get the occasional bang and road noise is increased.

No though a pair of small hands will help, when they say offset pins they mean the two lugs that that hook into the bulb holder are not directly opposite each other
Claying and the tar remover will strip that off anyway so just start from the top again.

The Brakes on the trophy have been discussed loads over on CT just recently so it's worth a look over there.
Recently had some work done that involved fitting pagid blue, brembo discs, lines, fluid, solid top mounts, alignment and camber and the car is totally transformed.
Front pads, disc's, lines and alignment are a definate, decent exhaust and the Maxogen (although the reno unit is good, maybe just loose the acoustic valve) a live remap (do not bother with one of the off the shelf flash maps, they are not worth the money) Warren was right when he said that the...
Same reason you shouldn't wash towels with conditioner.
Quick tip, if you drop any microfiber pick off all the bits you can before you wash, any organic stuff will work itself into the cloth during the wash and then they're buggered.
