What are you talking about? Please show me where you can get similar with the bits listed above for "just over a grand" The Trophy still commands a premium over a similar 182, always has and probably always will so that differential will still exist when you come to sell. For what it is with...
If it's been stood for two years there is probably a load of water condensed in the exhaust which will be boiling off once it gets warm as white smoke. The petrol smell is just normal on start up.
That car is no longer on it's Sachs dampers which probably reflects in the price, don't think the new owner has plans to put this one back to original at the moment either. Shame people can do what they like with their cars but it would be nice if things like the dampers are kept with the car on...
LOL at this, 50 and I've got a Clio Trophy and a Renault 5 GT Turbo. What does this say about me? That I've got taste as they are arguably two of the best hot hatches ever.
Whilst cheap UV filters can induce flare and degrade your picture they do offer some physical protection and though many say to junk them i think for most you are simply not going to notice and it does give you that peace of mind. If you are going to use one spend a bit on one...
Only you can decide whether spending the extra on decent kit will "worth the money" but that better kit will give you extra options and I think some of those pics are really nice and I think you would benefit.
Have a look around this site http://www.lightstalking.com/ it's focused towards the...
I have been thinking about upgrading to a Canon EOS7D or even the full frame 5Dmk11 and clearly you can save a lot online but you can save even more by buying from dealers operating from Hong Kong for instance. Does anyone have any experience or know of any drawbacks to buying from these...
Yeah it would have been fairly bouncey and was probably handling like an old barge.:D
Judging by the oil all over the other I suspect that was well on its way out as well, it will be a completely different car when you get them back on. Are you over on ClioTrophy as well?
Those dampers were in a bit of a state, you shouldn't actually be able to move the piston by hand so the left hand one was def fubar'd which is strange as the right hand one was the oilyer.
Well if it helps white goes to pink on the new connector the two pale brown go together. If I remember the pins are marked pos and neg on both new and old connectors.
That must be a really nice example ;)
Get it done, it's hurts having to spend that much money on a car with tiny mileage but at least I will have peace of mind for the next 5years/10k :)
Yeah that was me, I wanted to leave a note but didn't have a pen on me so left the card instead. Did you think I sold my Trophy when I got the 5GT Turbo? I haven't seen you there before but I do normally ride into work along the river.
Yours was looking very clean as always.
Spotted the car in the cattle market carpark this morning (friday 23rd) parked close by in the T although my first inclination to to park elsewhere as mine has been hit by a dirty rainshower:o
Also spotted you whilst I was cycling to Rokefest last bank holiday.
