I'm still looking around, my ph1 shed isnt getting repaired until the 18th, So I cant buy anything before then. Though I think someone at work is taking her off my hands for about £800 when its done.
Just out of curiosity, how high would anyone go on mileage for a DCi before not going anywhere...
Might try and get down. It's a very big maybe at the moment. Depends if I get my new dci by then.
Would be good for my first meet to be one of this size though!
Just seen this come up on a selling group on facebook, going for £1200, anyone wanting it? ;)
Personally, my favourite part is the //M badge on the passenger door.
When I was 18 I insured myself on a ph1 1.4 and cost me £3000, I forked out for it though.
TPFT, two women named drivers, etc etc. Lowest i could get it.
Excellent news mate, cheers for that. Which one are you using may I ask?
Fair enough, can't imagine they'll be overly expensive? I guess that will fit straight in to the Pioneer Blacky has recommended too.
That looks well tidy mate, I thought for everything I need i'd be looking at double that price!
Will it keep the fingertip controls and the dash screen though?
I have honestly no idea about bluetooth head units. I get bluetooth streaming etc, I've done bits like that to TVs etc.
Say if I were listening to a track with bluetooth streaming, I get a call, It'll cut out and i'll be able to make the call etc? Will the same work with google navigation...
Basically I'll be getting a new car at the end of next month, (Ph2 DCi) and its just got the basic Renault head unit, no CD changer or anything. I'm looking to either replace it, or find a more efficient way of using my phone for music/satnav/calls. Currently I have a JVC head unit that came...
Spotted two up at longwell green last night whilst up for chiquitos with the missus.
One silver 182 I got a glimpse of up on the security office end, then this outside chiquitos:
Renault sport decals in the rear windows. Sell. Me. Your. Wheels. :D
I loved Tom @ wests sports rep, though I highly doubt I could afford a widetrack conversion on an 80, probably same for rear discs. I'll have a think and see what comes up.
I mainly need it for the mpg, but it's also because I don't trust myself with a 1*2, I'm honestly not a good enough...
how much am I looking at for an intercooler install job? I love the non-sport flame red type colour, but can only find it in a 65.
Appalling that I'm judging this by colour availability haha.
definitely good to hear loads of opinions! Cheers!
So far, pros and cons between the 80 and 100 are:
80:
more colours (and more available)
lower tax, but it is only a tenner.
Higher MPG from what I can tell
Cheaper to repair if anything goes wrong.
Can be widetracked if I ever decide to in...
Cheers for all the info guys, I'll still probably take someone who knows a little something about diesels in exchange for beer tokens just to be sure.
Annoying part is I can't p/x my car until the my car has been repaired on the 18/7. But now I can't decide between a 100 or an 80 anyway...
Yes, you're right. I'll start looking at a few 80s tonight.
Just gotta wait for my ph1 to have its accident repairs on the 18/7, then I'll throw it in with a p/x.
So the usual checks like belts, starting from cold, anything else I should be looking out for? (the cheaper one looks a bit too...
Cheers for all that. To be honest, my ph1 gearbox is on its way to being knackered, so anything would be better. Fair enough about the 80 powerwise, there's loads more colours available in the 80 too (could even widetrack an 80). So far all I've found for 100s in my price range is these two...
I didn't think cruise control was an option on the dcis? I was planning on retrofitting it anyway.
Cheers for the heads up on injectors. It works out ill be saving silly money on fuel a month, so I think the risk of that is outweighed really.
Is there anything I can do in the way of...
I know theres a few threads about this, but I couldn't find everything I was after.
My first car was a 1.4 16v ph1, and it did a good job for my first year (got my insurance down etc). But am now looking at going to a DCi.
90% of my driving is motorway, about 10 miles to work each day, then a...
I have a feeling it was a 172 rather than a 182. I think whoever was driving may have been wearing a white top with fairly short hair? Just a guess, like I said, it was just a glace, I was trying to spot CS stickers.
looks like it'd just been detailed that morning though!
Personally, I'm with BT. I would be hitting in excess of 96+MB if it weren't for the imposed 80mb limiter they set. My dad works for BT and this is how he explained it:
"Virgin may offer you 80mb, but its 80mb to everyone connected to virgin using the same Cab as you (the little green boxes on...
Well that was a stressful five minutes. A few phone calls and it turns out my mother can't read the difference between "includes" and "excludes".
I assume I now be claiming from his mother's insurance as they are the cars insurer.
