Renault parts are doing a deal ATM with all genuine pads £9.99+vat, not motrio but Renault - I'm not sure if RS is excluded, it doesn't say on the leaflet but they sent in a leaflet last week to me, i got front and rears for my kangoo to keep safe
That's a Clio Extreme, and I BELIEVE that was one of the "renault accessory" body kits - I remember seeing a few of them local with the same kit, same chequered flags on the side and most had some sort of wolfrace 17" wheels
send a pic so we can see what it is you have as there is no such thing as an extreme GT special edition. And someone will be able to help with the best way to go about repairing
if its a clio Extreme it will look like this...
if its a clio GT it will look like this...
Neither are a special...
I owned the car from new and for the first 12k miles, until the SuperSports were done I had an odd understeer at medium speeds when you were carrying speed but not throwing the car around and shifting its weight, i had an alignment check carried out and all was good so i just put it down to the...
i had this dilemma when my supersports ran out. I fitted Pilot sport 4 (not the 4S) and found them better than the supersports they replaced! I then sold my rear supersports for more than the replacement new PS4's cost as people were looking for them!
imagine a GT owner wanting to buy a new boot lid to fit a cup spoiler as all the RS owners are wishing they had a GT bootlid and spoiler! funny old world!
if your worried about MOT, id just get a custom exhaust place to weld a new flange onto that manifold then a new sports cat along with a pair of flanges or Vband at the exhaust side!
if not just do as above with a bit of straight pipe lol
Anyone apart from Dial Direct in my experience - horrid company - I went with them as they were cheapest on a price comparison! I can only imagine how bad they would be if you had a crash!
Imo if you buy one that's fairly well looked after they only really require minimum servicing and repairs, especially as a 2nd car so even using a good mechanic they can be cheap to look after and enjoy
Run a 1.6 16v engine and gearbox, CLIO 1.6 16v engine wiring loom and ECU, this will connect to the 1.2 Clio interior loom at the bulkhead and run the matching UCH from the 1.6 ECU and key (sorry I have no experience with decoded ecus etc)
your car should have these dials or similar with the...
Converting a Clio 1.2 to a 1.6 using the parts from a Clio 1.6 is easy, and because its so easy there is no need to be trying to make it hard by using a megane.
By all means use the megane engine if you already have it but get an ECU, UCH and key from a clio 1.6
Given your car is effectively a...
The worst ever daily driver I've ever owned. I recon an Elise would be nicer to live with, when it has the cup chassis anyway. Most fun car I've owned though!
you can absolutely daily drive one but they do feel their age now compared to a modern daily of course, I prefer something turbocharged for a daily driver now
