Hooligan.
Pics are awesome though Mark! Loving the 'not reliable' one hahaha.
@Ricardos Are you just using the forum upload an image for your pics? It seems to be sapping the quality out of them. Use flickr.
Sweet. Did you go for all plain? They have obviously put their prices up just recently as I checked and I paid £21 posted. They're a decent bunch of lads to be honest and I can't complain about their service.
Driving home today after a cute reservoir walk with the mrs, decided on overtaking a yaris doing 30 in a 60. Halfway past, my tyre gets a puncture, and I embarrassingly pull in and let her pass me again.
Balls!
I had wanted to save for 2118's and then get some PS3 rubber on for summer but...
That's still really sad seeing that! Thought you said you'd never have another? Haha.
Got my 182 as my 2nd car but I've only owned it around 7 months now and I must have spent nearly the same amount I paid for it on the car already. :astonished:😂
Had some problems this morning with the clio struggling at low RPM. Stripped it down again, and I think one of the leads may have been trapped or a coil not on properly as I re-assembled and it's absolutely fine now. I got worried when it started, but a nice easy fix! Just ordered some gearbox...
You were behind me coming off the ring road and actually followed me up to my house. I was in the black 182.
Kind of weird really as i've never seen it around here before but came up the same alley behind my house where I park, and then just drove straight past without even looking at me...
Removed my inlet tonight and fitted my new spark plugs. Had been meaning to do this since I got the belts done, but just haven't had chance although I've not put that many miles on yet anyway!
The old plugs were well worth changing! But was nice to see they were NGK, however old...
Colour of the paint and it's finish is actually really nice considering it's a VHT paint. VHT paint isn't really needed on there though, many have had no problems with normal paint.
I've found these 54mm fairly cheap here - https://www.n2o-tuning.com/bilstein-b14-pss-gewindefahrwerk-renault-clio-2-bj-02-00-12-02/a-290317/
Might be worth emailing them asking them if they do the 60mm ones at all. About £575 for the above.
You can always get the oil changed, and then refuse to have any work done if they insist on the box. Although, that might be what it needs. Pretty low mileage though so i doubt it! I think @imprezaworks is right in thinking it's a linkage issue.
I might do, it considerably better than a generic 98ron map? I'm told mines been 'remapped' but all PO's lie. Havn't actually looked to see whether I have a rev limiter at 7.6k or not though.
Bilsteins, 2118's, mapping, polybush/black allround, PMS Topmount/brace, ARB, Bumper/Bonnet respray. Will probably just shove a 98ron map on it next as all the other maintenance is pretty much out the way.
Can't wait for the mods. Expect lots of whatsapp updates.
