Only problem with the ducts is that any stones are going to be directed right at my belts now. Need to collect my arch liners off Dan and then get some ducting bought. Some mesh is on it's way too now.
Fingers crossed you pass MOT with few issues mate!

PO fitted it a few years back, wasn't that much though.
My cats on now, and the gf would prefer it to stay on because of the sound. It's still fairly loud, but there's a lot more induction noise. Not sure which I like more! Still sounds good, but not as raspey, with the added benefit of not having any petrol smells in the car. Summer is decat time...
Sound. I'm still undecided as I wanted to buy some new tyres myself, although the dyno run isn't expensive. If you need to borrow a cat for MOT give me a shout.
I'll have to get it plugged in. Thought I was over these bloody ABS issues. Would a snapon diagnostics do it, or will it need clip? I have access to snapon, but will need to go to a specialist otherwise.
Who knows. I'm not getting any ABS or Service lights, ABS rings are all clean/new.
Hoping it's just a loose plug somewhere, but i did check all i could get my hands on.
Cheers Mark, proper chuffed it passed as it's just a pain in the arse not having the car! Rather work on it to my own deadlines, rather than having to rush for MOT's and work.
Yes mate. These are the spacers/antivibration plastics.
Guide here showing front/rear ones. -...
Thought it would have been, it's just doing it's rounds again so thought i'd repost it.
Is that the guy who also did a video with carthrottle ages ago?
Took it for the MOT today after giving it a good and thorough ragging beforehand.
Passed with ease this time, handbrake efficiency at 18%, and the lambda right down now so the high temperature silicone must have cured the leak on the olive.
Had to get the headlights adjusted by them, but...
On mine, the pipe with the little filter on is connected to my KTR induction hose if it's the same one i'm thinking of. Hard to see properly from the potato cam you used ;)
The other small breather hose I think you're talking about is probably the one to the acoustic valve which has I guess...
Some good dyno figures @Davyy. Want to get mine on to see what sort of figures it has.
Definitely get the wing mirrors done! I wonder what the rear boot button would look like painted too? Looks good on some cars but don't think i've seen it done on a flamer.
Sooooo, from my last update I got my cat fitted and took the car for MOT. Where I promptly failed on emissions (Lambda high), inefficient rear parking brake (by 1%!) and headlight alignment.
Got the car home, set about rebuilding my rear brakes to see where the problem was as I had just fitted...
Looks a good base for a project. I'd have to agree with @imprezaworks please remove the stickers haha.
IMHO it needs:
Smaller front plain number plate,
Rear plain number plate
Chrome badges back on,
A thorough clean,
Remove the rear dewiper sticker,
Spacers on the wheel,
Change centre caps...
