I would get a second opinion on the alignment as the rear is fixed with no adjustment so I'd it was out I'm not sure how they "fixed it" and also there is no camber adjustment on the front unless they were messing about with camber bolts etc which I assume a local garage wouldn't.
to be fair to Renault, the dealers are generally very pleasant when your looking to spend £20k+ on a car, I got a free hot chocolate and then a few weeks after taking delivery asked to leave for telling the technician I was driving RS clios when he was still in his dads ballsack because I was...
I believe the dealers are generally very good too which is now very high up on my list when choosing a car. Renault main dealers are f**king terrible and regardless of the franchise owner its all the same, so its Renaults fault.
They are like the little kids in your kids class at school that...
yeah the older stuff is getting hard to find, going up an inch would suit it quite nicely I think without having to worry too much about having to lower the ride height, Daniel from here when he had his white kangoo im sure he got 15/16" steels from a scenic and had them powder coated silver...
the indicator/ rear lights fault usually happens on the mk2 clio when the connectors on the rear lights need a clean out as they are a bit corroded and cause an earthing fault, have a look at that!
EGR valve your right probably worth pulling out and giving it a good clean, will run a lot nicer...
nothing off the shelf as far as im aware, just speak to a custom exhaust place and have something made up. they sound great with a decat and nice exhaust, bit more than £200 though!
it was years ago I made just under 140hp and 150lbft, I didn't change the intercooler on mine but it was holding it back. just downpipe, panel filter and injectors.
definitely worth it they are bomb proof little engines!
rs tuner by fastchip? I had one of his maps on my first TCE too, munched a clutch in about 2000 miles, pointless mapping them on the stock injectors, you get loads of low down torque but then once you get up the revs it tails off as the injectors are maxed, sure mine made 118hp on the stock...
I used RS tuning for mine, I wasn't overly impressed and would be trying EFI if I had another. Mine made great power and was fantastic on full throttle, drivability was poor everywhere else
this might sound silly but you are pressing the brake pedal when trying to use launch control? just when you said when you press the accelerator and it does nothing.
no idea about the driver modes in the throttle map menu as I don't have RS monitor yet, trying to enable it, would help if I...
turn the heaters down low when your getting it up to temperature. ive never know the rad fan to come on for any DCi ive had other than when the aircon is on.
mine is the same, never noticed it in 13k miles until I read this and checked, feels normal and natural to me too? is your RS drive button working as if LC isn't working and its not showing the green button that would make me think its not actually changing driver modes?
does it say RACE or...
that sounds great! I had their newer system on my 182 cant remember what its called the one that comes with all its own mounts so it sits nicely etc and I had the silenced decat for it, sounded nice but a little too quiet, pretty much sounded as the car should have standard which suits me as im...
I came in here for picture p**n and am disappointed!
I know people have said the 6 speed doesn't fit, is that when bolted to a 2.0 16v Turbo or just in general, Im sure last time I had a shot of a Trafic 1.9 DCi 100 it was a 6 speed (I might be wrong) and I know the 1.9 DCi was available in...
I had literally the same with mine, it was ex demo car, 1500 miles, went to look at it 5hrs after contacting them to say I was coming, and it was dirty, full of rubbish and the saleman who was using it could tell me even less about it than the one who sold me it. I bought it anyway as it was...
yeah mine was decatted, it was a pain in the arse! it would have been easier with the drivers side shaft removed but I couldn't be bothered draining the gearbox oil so I just persevered and managed it.
I done it on the garage floor which again made it harder, these days I would just use a ramp!
From memory xenon's were £500, doesn't seem much but I suppose when you think the cars were only £8k or something it's expensive!
I think they had done away with the sat nav by ph3
