I would get a second opinion on the alignment as the rear is fixed with no adjustment so I'd it was out I'm not sure how they "fixed it" and also there is no camber adjustment on the front unless they were messing about with camber bolts etc which I assume a local garage wouldn't.

the indicator/ rear lights fault usually happens on the mk2 clio when the connectors on the rear lights need a clean out as they are a bit corroded and cause an earthing fault, have a look at that! EGR valve your right probably worth pulling out and giving it a good clean, will run a lot nicer...

yeah mine was decatted, it was a pain in the arse! it would have been easier with the drivers side shaft removed but I couldn't be bothered draining the gearbox oil so I just persevered and managed it. I done it on the garage floor which again made it harder, these days I would just use a ramp!
