Good choice with the rear dampers. Bet it will handle lovely, 200cup rack will complete it.
got to say I'm a sticker can though, looks naked without! That front bumper was why I never even considered it, I assumed it had been re sprayed and masked round the sticker but God knows what they have...
On my 220 you don't even feel it downshifting it just does it, certainly no clinking or jerking. In sport and race it blips the throttle on downshift.c
I do however have clutch judder in 2nd
I've had a play with it to enable android auto working out how to enable rs monitor is next as people are charging £100s to do it when it would be better if the information was just public.
I've got a mate who makes a mint from buying from retards on Facebook's, cleaning, taking good pics and writing a proper ad then selling them elsewhere lol
There was in in the scrappy had an intercooler last week when I was there so some must have had them so should be a straight swap. I've fitted a few dci80 coolers to dci65 clios easy swap
the 65 and 80hp turbos are compatible but not the 100. I've just sold my 80hp turbo too I done a price drop on eBay after you said yours was blue label and it sold! they must have done them in both yellow and blue label depending on the supplier or something!
great buy! EGR is perfect too that's what you want, not clogged obviously but, sooty but no oil!
love that colour it will look mint as a van! hopefully this will spur me on to find one to reshell my van!
This 100% by the time the 220 came I think it was too late the damage was done and most of the press didn't even bother testing it!
Good for us though as the depreciated like a stone and are rare, I love mine! I had a fiesta st for the weekend when my mate was away on holiday and it's a great...
Indeed, that's why I own one, as I wanted a 5 door auto. But you just have to read the press reviews not only was a select few left foot breaking hero's on here disappointed but the motoring press didn't receive it well. Now 50% of that was due to the fact the box just wasn't upto the job and...
Renaultsport cars started loosing their fan base when the brand stopped giving a s**t about their fans!
Remember the director of renaultsport UK, Jeremy was on here and used to post (and get people giving him greif constantly due to their car being s**t and dealers shitter lol)
The...
Ive got a good condition 80hp turbo if your looking to keep running the standard turbo here if you need one
https://www.cliosport.net/threads/clio-dci-80-turbo-£50.826191/
im not sure ive never had one off that's been pumping oil in to see, I would imagine if you pull the boost pipe off it will be full of oil though! tell tale sign
shouldn't have done it any harm, the harm is done when people don't know how to shut it off and leave it running and smoking until it uses up all its oil and seizes the engine!
sounds like the turbo has went pop and its suffered from "diesel run away" where it runs on its own oil, hence why when you turn off the ignition and the injectors stop pumping fuel, it keeps running
ive done the full conversion before so subframe, lower arms, ARB, suspension, brakes and its a straight swap but *I THINK* you can run your current subframe and lower arms with 172 hubs, brakes and suspension. but obviously in your situation the stiffer and better mounting ARB would be a worth...
ive never driven a 200 EDC at length, but I wasn't overly impressed with my 220 Trophy for the first 2 or 3 weeks then I got into a rhythm with it and now 16k miles and 1 year on, I'm honestly not sure what I would replace it with this side of £30k now! - it was once I got it on roads I had been...
I really like these! Quick little cars too. A local lad is selling a club sport with a rod through the block for £4k I was tempted to buy it and fix it and get the summer out it!
My mate brought his MG ZT over I beleive it's called typhoon blue? One of less than 20 I think, his front bumper had a knock and he managed to source another in good condition so we swapped them over (hence the missing number plate)
Wouldn't really, in theory I suppose longer gearing is harder for the engine to turn so more chance of it spending prolonged time lower down in the torque band which can wear the clutch
