I only changed one on mine, as only one was leaking so didn't see the point in disturbing anything else as it was on 140k, it was pretty bad with that black tar like stuff after months of leaking with the previous owner, I expected a nightmare but the injector pulled out no problem, and I'm sure...
i got the belts and dephaser done on my 182 by mcboyle motors renault specialists in Denny a few months back. Genuine parts and tools used, car drove brilliant after it and it was a good chunk cheaper than the quotes i had reveived elsewhere so thumbs up from me
buy one that runs sweet and give it a yearly service (they are cheap to service!) and it will run forever. Ive just sold my old DCi80 had 160k on it, used it daily for 3 years and probably 40k+ miles and it cost me an alternator. was an epic car, mine was mapped running around 110bhp and 175lbft...
in reality where the CZT will be a little faster it will "feel" much faster id have thought, my tuned up diesel clio felt not much slower than my 182 but in reality the 182 would have punished it.
however coming to the clio will give you a big step up in fun and driver involvement over the CZT...
na I managed to get a cracking deal on a pre face lift, pre reg with delivery miles but being one of the last made it has the facelift interior, media nav evolution etc. I had a shot of the 1.2 TCe with the 6 speed manual now instead of the EDC box and it was a cracking car! bloddy pricey though!
i was offered a 220 trophy for £299 deposit and £299 a month which I didn't think was too bad at the time! working it out with a calculator soon talked me out of it though and I ended up with a new DCi Dynamique S instead lol
you could just change the headlights they look the same shape, and keep your current drl's -your probably right though jusr as cheap to change car lol.
mine is a pre facelift with the facelift interior etc as its one of the last
my red one was running standard injectors, 115bhp it started causing issues and I got a map with a bit less power for it but didn't like the way it drove, it was like a diesel loads of low down torque felt the same top end though. - here is a video of it hitting just over 90% duty cycle when I...
i was 6 hour round trip to get to RS Tuning, the drive back was awesome.
I would put my mortgage on the local company not being able to do a proper job at mapping it.
mine held boost no problem and only started dropping off approaching 6000rpm, Paul @ RSTuning said it was a nightmare to perfect it when he done the first few but now hes got it sorted.
