Tbh buy a new dephaser and it'll last the time that your hillclimbing it. IME they suffer more from town driving.
Destructive misfire literally just means misfire.
Does it smell eggy (assuming you have a cat still fitted) as that's a pretty good indication of if it's fuel or ignition related.
Fluid was fine. Replaced the day before with ATE Superblue. But as said the pedal feel was fine, the pads just couldn't cope with 120mph-40mph stops. Have ds3000's now with no issues, and not even bled the fluid either.
I will say that I overheated mine at Bedford in June, which is why I have no faith in them. Coming into a hair pin bend and the pedal being solid with little braking effort isn't my idea of fun on a track day!

OT, I seem to remember the ones I saw didn't have the screw.
There's no balancing screw lol. I remember someone questioning it (can't remember who and I won't say someone incase it wasn't them.) and ktec said they don't need it.
Mum bought me a hero 2 for Xmas, have purchased a sandisk 32gb micro as and adapter, suction mount and roll bar mount (£14.99 in Argos if anyone's after one!)

On a side note, glad your happy with it now, as said its a tidy looking car. Few niggles now sorted and once it has a new set of tyres and shocks, it'll be a totally transformed car from how you bought it!
