My gf VikkiB drives hers 45 miles a day commuting, and sees around 360miles a tank.
Tbh I have about 10/15 on my customer base on well over 100k, the usual suspension components wear out but that's it really.
You'll struggle to find pe2's now.
eBay is the cheapest for ps3's which is what Vikki just had fitted. Must say I'm very impressed with the wet weather grip.
A DCI turbo won't work. Megane 225 turbo would but the manifold won't fit. Other stuff you need is:
Injectors
Map sensor
Standalone ecu
Manifold
Down pipe
Oil return
Oil feed
Intercooler
That's off the top of my head.
To be honest, people moan about these engines not getting great gains for the money, but tbh the best gain per £ is probably having the belts done at a specialist lol
The DCI doesn't have a locking pin hole. It's a 'press against' locking pin.
When you rotated it all, did it go tight? It's unlikely you can damage it unless it locked up and you proceeded to turn it anyway.
