197/RS2'd setup was awesome. Had a power curve like a diagonal line.

That's probably the worst way to run in an engine. Hard acceleration and lots of over run for the first 25 miles, drop the oil, new oil, new filter, done.

It's similar with OBX stuff. They sell a diff for the Honda's. but it won't fit, you have to machine the unit to fit the bearings, therefore warranty void.

Really? They wouldn't sort out an orbisoud that they sell either. Although, it's clever, supply something that can't be used in its current form (I.e a tail pipe that sticks out 2ft from the car) so you cut it down, thus warranty null and void.

I agree paranoid, might not get a torque wrench in there but you can get a spanner and check it all.

See if it selects gears. The smoke is perfectly normal.

You can access it through the timing mark hole if you wish to tighten then up more.

It's fully synthetic. I've used it in Vikki's and it seems happy enough. If its my customers cars I use elf only.

If you have the dephaser done aswell, £500 if its out the car and you bring it to me.

It's more a £600 job. Dephaser alone is nearly £200.

Fuel pressure regulator in the tank can go weak and not keep residual pressure in the line.

Rocker covers are machined to the head. You have to be lucky to find a cover that allows the right tollerance. I have a few customers from over there.
